Entebbe
Day 1: Welcome to Entebbe!
To start your Uganda tour, arrive in the charming town of Entebbe.
The city is situated on the peninsula of Lake Victoria, the former seat of Uganda's government and a short drive away from the excitement of the bustling capital.
During your time in town, you will explore the beautiful beaches on the banks of Lake Victoria and stroll through the fields and forests of the magnificent Botanical Gardens.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which is a heaven for Uganda's orphaned chimps. Your delightful bed and breakfast hotel provides a home away from home atmosphere and incredible staff that are happy to share their experiences with you to make sure you have the most authentic travel experience.

Day 2: Antelope, Hippos, And Crocodiles...Oh My!
Stretched along the shores of Lake Albert, the Murchison Falls National Park provides incredible rainforest and savannah landscapes and spotting of a number of diverse wildlife such as buffalos, antelopes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and lions.
You will also have the rare opportunity to join a rhino trekking tour to spot these endangered magnificent creatures in the wild.
The Nile River flows through the middle of the park creating the impressive Murchison Falls to awe over.
Additionally, you will be able to join a Safari adventure or spend time unwinding at the lodge with a pair of binoculars and a guide book. The lodging offers a diverse range of accommodation to choose from depending on your travel style. From attractive thatched cottages to riverside safari tents and simple camping tents positioned along the campsite.

Murchison Falls National Park
Day 3: Go Boating Along The Murchison Falls
Wake up in the stunning nature of the National Park and head to the boat launching site in Paraa.
Hop on board and head to the base of the falls.
Along the way you will spot Rothschild giraffes and much more magnificent wildlife.
Alternatively, you can join the 5-hour journey to spot even more game and a diverse range of bright colored birds.
You will also see the mighty Murchison Falls raining down on the Nile River.

Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 4: Go On A Safari In The Savannah
On the edge of one of the most beautiful national parks in Uganda your savannah inspired lodging with grassland and outcrop surroundings awaits, as well as the Karamajong tribe with their manyattas and colorful blankets.
The accommodation consists of luxurious self-contained safari tents and comfortable camping tents.
The savannah itself is one of the most stunningly beautiful reserves located in the remote Kidepo Valley National Park.
Once check into your hotel you will be able to explore the territory with game drives and nature walks visiting the Lamoj Mountains and the Kidepo River Valley.
Along the adventure, you will spot its rich population of raptors and diverse species of birds.

Day 5: Explore Kidepo Valley National Park
Kick the day off with a walking Safari tour through the swaths of the savannah studded with hills and rock clusters, and its traversed forest-flanked Lorupei River.
Afterwards, join an afternoon game drive to spot more excellent wildlife, including greater and lesser kudu, elands, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and a variety of game from the plains.
Then, rest and get ready for the exciting next days of cultural adventure.

Kotido
Day 6: Meet The Friendly Locals!
After all the wildlife viewing, head to the small town of Kotido, located in the district of Northern Karamoja.
Check into your cozy bed and breakfast and prepare for a walk through town.
Here you will have the opportunity to meet the friendly locals and get to know the burgeoning cultural scene.
The main group of people who live here are the Jie, a Karimojong sub-group. Since the 2008 disarmament safety is very good in the region and Ronald en Anke Simiya is living here since 2010.

Kotido
Day 7: Slide Down The Sliding Rock
Enjoy a wonderful breakfast provided at the hotel and get out to explore the village.
On your journey, get to know the locals better and see some of the incredible arts and crafts made by the villagers, such as handwoven baskets, beaded jewelry, bows and arrows, and traditional Karimojong skirts.
After that, head to the Sliding Rock, where you can actually slide down the rock and enjoy the spectacular nature views surrounding the area.

Moroto
Day 8: Getaway In Moroto
Check into the Kara-Tunga Guesthouse and Cafe, which is a friendly hideout located in the peaceful residential area of the town of Moroto. The lodging offers a space for a larger group and provides a relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoy a nature walk though the town and relax with a drink, healthy high quality food, and friendly staff.
In the evening, watch the sunset against the natural backdrop and gaze at the stars into the night.

Day 9: Hike Mt. Moroto
After enjoying a fresh breakfast at the lodging, you will head to Mount Moroto. Mount Moroto is a chain of volcanoes along Uganda's international boarder with Kenya. Enjoy a peaceful hike though the nature and surrounding forest reserves protecting a range of habitats from the savannah to the montane forest. Then head back to the Kara-Tunga Guesthouse to wind down after a full day's hike.

Sipi Falls
Day 10: Hike To The Kapsurur Falls
Continuing the journey along the border between Uganda and Kenya is Mount Elgon, the oldest solitary volcano in East Africa.
Mount Elgon is home to a variety of rare plants and abundant wildlife. The area also offers excellent climbing and walking along Koitobos, the highest peak on the Kenyan side, reaching up to 4200 meters.
This evening you will sleep at the Sipi Ruver Lodge, which is set within the grounds of a unique restored former residence consisting of a main house and seven detached accommodations for guests, each individually designed with a thoughtful perspective against the backdrop of the Kapsurur Falls. Within this picturesque setting, you will experience intimate fireside dining, a comfortable reading lounge, an airy veranda, and a bar stocked with beers, wines, and a fine selection of single malt whisky.

Sipi Falls
Day 11: Feel The Bliss Among Waterfalls And Fine Coffee
Wake up for a delicious breakfast at the Sipi River Lodge, located in the foothills of Mount Elgon. Then get ready to explore the famous three spectacular waterfalls, which are home to an incredible number of bird species, some of the best Arabica coffee in the world, and magical sunsets.
Join in for an afternoon tea and cake after a beautiful waterfall hike and refuel with a hearty home-cooked meal that celebrate local produce.
Afterwards, you can join a coffee tour and taste some of the finest coffee in the world.

Jinja
Day 12: Go Camping In Jinja
Situated on the northern shores of Africa’s largest lake in southern Uganda, Jinja is the second largest city in Uganda and it's famous for being located at the source of the Nile.
There are also a variety of other adrenaline filled activities such as quad biking, bungee jumping, kayaking, mountain biking and horse riding. Other popular activities include browsing the colorful Jinja market, viewing the faded grandeur of the crumbling colonial architecture lining the streets, and joining a bicycle tour to soak up the spectacularly scenic surroundings.
After an adventure filled day, head back to the comfortable Nile River Campsite and admire the riverside views or go for a swim in the swimming pool.

Day 13: Go White Water Rafting At The Bujagali Falls
The rapids on the Nile make Jinja the white water rafting capital of East Africa. It is also known as the adventure capital of Uganda, although the main attraction is undoubtedly rafting down the Nile.
The Bujagali Falls provide a full day's entertainment; the falls are more a series of rapids accompanied by the roar of a million liters of water per second. There are plenty of good rapids and lots of natural beauty, which make this a great outing.

Entebbe
Day 14: Travel Back To Entebbe
After all the wild adventures and cultural explorations, it's time to head back to the Guinea Fowl lodging in Entebbe.
Enjoy a relaxing day at your accommodation or go for a stroll along the lake.
Then, enjoy a delicious meal provided at the accommodation.

Day 15: Farewell, Uganda!
Pack up your bags and enjoy your final breakfast in Uganda before heading to the Entebbe International Airport.
It's time to say goodbye to all the wonderful nature, diverse wildlife and rich culture Uganda welcomed you with and get back to your everyday life.
