Entebbe
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda!
A driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe where you will have the rest of the day at leisure to relax and get ready for your Ugandan adventure.

Entebbe - Ziwa Rhino Wildlife Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park
Day 2: Rhino rehabilitation
Today you will wake up early ready for your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the chance to view Uganda’s most endangered animal, the Southern White rhino. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to over 30 Southern White rhinos who are being rehabilitated with the hope of being slowly released back into the wild.
After this, you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Spot lions, leopards, and much more!
Today will be an early start ready for your first morning game drive where you will be on the lookout for elephants, leopards, lions, warthogs and giraffes as well as large herds of animals such as oribi, hartebeests, kobs and buffalo!
After lunch you will drive to the top of the Murchison Falls to experience the phenomenal view of the river Nile plunging 42m below, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Not only is the waterfall spectacular to see, but so are the views, so take a moment to gaze into the distance and soak up the surrounding natural beauty.

Day 4: Beautiful landscapes
Head out on a boat ride to Delta this morning and see if you can spot some hippos and elephants wading in the water, as well as a fantastic array of birds. After this, you will embark on the scenic drive towards Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the lush green landscape outside your window as you pass by tea plantations, rolling hills and little villages. Once you have settled into your lodge, you can opt to take part in a night walk around the surrounding forest.

Day 5: Today is all about chimpanzees
Rise early today ready to explore Kibale Forest National Park. This national park is an extension of the great rainforests of central Africa and is home to three large chimp communities with about 1450 individuals, making it one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Africa.
Follow your guide as he uses his expert knowledge to track one of the chimp communities by listening to their hooting calls and following their eating trails. Once you have spotted the chimps, enjoy the unforgettable experience of watching them in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon meet with the Bigodi community and share lunch with them before exploring the Bigodi swamp & community on a village walk. Not only will you spot more primates on this walk, including I’hoestesa and red colobus you will also learn all about this welcoming community.

Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 6: Crater region
Today will take you to Queen Elisabeth National Park and the route to get there will not disappoint. Expect lots of photography stops along the way as you drive through Uganda’s crater region. This breathtaking region is known for its blue crater lakes that provide colourful pops of colour against the lush green Rwenzori mountain range in the distance.
In the afternoon you’ll board a boat for a cruise along the Kazinga Channel with the chance of spotting hippos, buffalos, and lots of water birds by the channel side. This boat cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Once you have arrived at the national park you will head out on an evening game drive to finish off this incredible day.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Day 7: The 'Switzerland of Africa'
This morning, you will transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Home to over half of the world’s Mountain Gorillas this is an incredible wildlife destination. On the way, you will pass through the Kigezi Highlands, an area known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ due to its beautiful terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi.

Day 8: An unforgettable day
Today you will embark on one the most spectacular and moving activities of the trip as today you will track gorillas. The extraordinary experience of watching gorillas in their natural habitat, in the middle of this dense rainforest is truly unforgettable. The trek to find the gorillas can take between half an hour to seven hours but trust us, it’s worth it!

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Lake Mburo National Park
Day 9: Wildlife galore
Today you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, which has a mosaic-like habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannas, forests, and swamps. Ideal for birds, it is home to a huge array of bird species. In fact, 313 different species have been recorded in this park including rollers, bee-eaters, and starlings!
When you have arrived you will head out on a game drive through the park, where you can expect to see antelopes like impalas, elands and zebras that you have not yet seen on your Ugandan adventure. Once night falls you will have the opportunity to head back out on a night game drive to observe the animal's behaviours at night.

Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe
Day 10: Crossing the Equator
Wake up early this morning for a walking safari, offering you the unique opportunity to get up close with grazing antelopes and zebra. After breakfast, you can join a horse-riding tour through the park exploring its many trails before beginning your journey home. On route back to Entebbe you will pass over the Equator where we will stop for a quick photo and some souvenir shopping! After this, your driver will transfer you to the airport ready for your onward flight.
