Detailed Itinerary
Arusha
Day 1: Welcome To Tanzania!
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met and transferred to Arusha.
The rest of the day is yours to spend at your leisure.
Tarangire National Park
Day 2: Travel to Tarangire National Park
This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's largest national parks and it is a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population.
Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.
There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy your afternoon game drive.
Serengeti National Park
Day 3: Admire the Expanses of the Serengeti
After breakfast, you will commence your drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti.
It is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains, you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive and then the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Spend Time at the Hippo Pool
You have a full day in this wonderful park and your guide will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year. You can spend time at the Hippo pool, watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions or be in the middle of their migration.
You can journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes, these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top, you can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti.
Ngorongoro Crater
Day 5: Go Looking for the Felines of the Wild
Make an early morning start into the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day.
After a few hours' game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and head to your overnight accommodation on the rim of the crater.
Arusha
Day 6: Seek Wildlife at Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls, hence you have the opportunity to find the game easily.
The rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as a pride of lions and other predators like cheetahs. Enjoy lunch by the hippo pond before beginning your drive back to Arusha.
Kilimanjaro Airport
Day 7: Farewell, Tanzania!
After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kilimanjaro airport in time for your flight.
