Luang Prabang
Day 1: Welcome To Laos!
Welcome to Laos!
Upon your arrival at the airport, your local guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in town for the check-in. The rest of the day is for you to rest or spend at your leisure!

Luang Prabang - Wat Xieng Thong
Day 2: Go On A City Tour Of Luang Prabang
After breakfast, start a city sightseeing tour around Luang Prabang. You will visit the vegetable market and the former king’s palace, which is now a Royal Palace Museum.
The items displayed include rare furniture, traditional costumes, arts, jewelry, and ornaments as well as working tools and utensils of the early part of the 20th century. Then you will embark on a tour of this enthralling town to visit WatXieng Thong - the Golden City monastery. This dates back to the 16th century and is considered to be the finest in Laos.
Later, visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, and climb to the top of Phousi Hill for the marvelous panoramic views of the town sunset over the Mekong River. Later that day, you can explore the Night Market where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles.

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou
Day 3: Visit The Magnificent Pak Ou Caves
Transfer to the local pier of Luang Prabang to embark on a traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou caves. En route, stop over to visit Ban XangHai where the distillation of sticky rice wine can be seen.
Gently cruise up the Mekong River to admire the startling collection of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes nestled deep in the massive limestone caverns of the Pak Ou Cave. Dine on fabulous Lao cuisine while anchored beneath the limestone karsts on a tranquil stretch of river.
During the return cruise, stop at small villages to see the production of traditional Lao textiles and Sa paper by local artisans. This evening can be spent at your leisure to explore the city or relax at your hotel in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang - Kuang Si - Vientiane
Day 4: Be Stunned By The Glorious Kuang Si Waterfalls
Today, enjoy a short visit through the Luang Prabang countryside to the Kuang Si Waterfalls. The water tumbles down a large drop and cascades into several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.
Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch next to the falls before returning to Luang Prabang. In the afternoon, visit the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre for insight into the country's various ethnic groups and traditional crafts. Your tour will provide you with information into the wonders of Laos, enhancing your understanding of this little-known country and its people.
Later today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Upon your arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax.

Vientiane - Haw Prakaeo - Pha That Luong
Day 5: Explore Marvellous Vientiane
Today you have a full day to explore Vientiane - the charming and fascinating capital of Laos, one of the classic Indo Chinese cities which conjure up exotic images. Your visit will take you to the National Museum first.
Later, visit Wat Si Saket - the city’s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past. The next stop is Haw Phra Kaew. This large temple was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha.
In the afternoon a stop at the older part of Morning Market is recommended before visiting Pha That Luang. The giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky.
Next, you will be climbing the Arc De Triomphe of Laos. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top, you can see for miles around Vientiane.

Vientiane - Pakse - Bolaven
Day 6: Travel To Scenic Pakse
In the early morning, you will drive to the airport to catch your short in-country flight to Pakse. Upon arrival at Pakse airport, your guide and driver will pick you up and continue the trip to Bolaven Plateau, an area of highlands situated to the east of Pakse, home to various hill tribes.
These include the Lavens from which the region gets its name. Stop at Tad Lo, home to three separate waterfalls featuring stunning drops of crystalline water.
In the afternoon, continue to Tad Yuang & Tad Fane waterfalls, stopping en-route to visit a coffee and/or tea plantation. Spend the night in the Bolaven Plateau.

Wat Phou - Khonephapheng - 4000 Islands
Day 7: Be Amazed By Wat Phou
This morning, continue the trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wat Phou. This is a spectacular pre-Angkorian temple.
Return to Champasak, driving through streets lined with French colonial buildings. After a short rest, drive to visit the magnificent Khone Phapheng Waterfall, the largest cascade along the Mekong River.
A fault line caused the cascade, which is 6 km wide. The astonishing force of the water has cut dramatic gorges through the brittle bedrock. Continue on to 4,000 Islands, the biggest island in South Laos and the start of the 4,000 Islands Region.

4000 Islands - Liphi - Ban Khone
Day 8: Go Dolphin Watching On The Mekong
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Visit the surrounding islands of Done Det and Done Khone for a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the fishermen.
Continue to Done Khone Island and hike along its ancient railway built by the French in 1897 hill tribes bypass the powerful rapids when transporting goods from Cambodia. You will continue by Tuk Tuk to visit the Liphi Waterfall.
Embark on a cruise and try to catch sight of the Dolphin on the Mekong river. Return to Ban Khone after.

4000 Islands - Pakse
Day 9: Farewell, Nakasang!
Have breakfast at the hotel then enjoy a free morning before taking a boat back to Nakasang. Later, drive to the airport to catch your flight home.
