Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi

Welcome to Rovaniemi, the heart of Finnish Lapland. Your adventure begins here, where enchanting winter landscapes await.

You’ll be greeted on arrival and transferred to your centrally located, four-star hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for an unforgettable experience.

This evening, embark on a Northern Lights photography tour, guided by a professional photographer. Capture the mesmerising Aurora Borealis in the remote wilderness, far from the city lights. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the natural wonder of the lights, along with captivating Sami and Lappish legends. Warm up by the campfire with a traditional reindeer sausage and, at the end of the tour, receive your own Northern Lights photographs to treasure (downloads are available at no extra cost).

Day 2: Santa Claus Village & Arctic Snowcastle

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, set out for the Santa Claus Village, a festive haven nestled right on the Arctic Circle.

Explore this magical destination, meet Santa himself, as well as his team of cheerful helpers and send postcards to loved ones from Santa’s Post Office. The Arctic Circle runs through the village – cross the line together and you'll each receive a special commemorative certificate.

Enjoy a delicious traditional Finnish buffet for lunch before heading to the Arctic Snowcastle, where you’ll be treated to a romantic dinner for two in the spectacular ice restaurant, surrounded by intricately carved frozen walls. This unforgettable dining experience includes a three-course meal with choices of salmon, elk, chicken, or vegetarian dishes (select your meal when booking).

A transfer is provided to take you back to your hotel after dinner.

Day 3: Husky sleigh ride & snowmobile Aurora chase

After breakfast, begin the day with an exhilarating husky sleigh ride through the snowy Arctic landscape.

Get up close to the friendly huskies at a local farm before embarking on a thrilling ride through the pristine wilderness. Afterwards, cozy up in a warm cabin and enjoy snacks and refreshments, while you learn more about the huskies and their lifestyle, as well as hearing captivating local history and tales.

Later, the two of you will venture into the night with a snowmobile Aurora chase. Speed across the vast, snow-covered plains under the starry sky as you chase the elusive Northern Lights. Enjoy a well-deserved break by a crackling fire on a frozen lake, savoring delicious Lappish pork sausages and sipping warming blueberry tea, cuddling up as you wait for the spectacular light show to unfold.

Rovaniemi - Korouma - Rovaniemi

Day 4: Frozen waterfalls & igloo stay

After breakfast, set off for the stunning Korouoma frozen waterfalls, one of the most beautiful wintery sights to behold.

Located just over 100km away, the journey takes you through a breathtaking white landscape, where snow blankets the trees, rocks and earth, while streams cut their way through the frozen land.

Your expert guides will lead you along the trails – snow grippers will help you navigate the paths with ease – to the mesmerising frozen falls. Spend time marvelling at this natural wonder before relaxing by the fire together, enjoying a traditional Lappish lunch and a warming cup of blueberry tea.

Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel to check in to your unique glass Igloo-style room, where you’ll spend a memorable night surrounded by the serene beauty of Lapland’s snowy landscape.

Day 5: Reindeer ranch & Sami cultural experience

After today's breakfast, you'll experience the charm of Lappish culture with a visit to a traditional Reindeer ranch.

Learn about the Sami people’s deep connection with these majestic animals as you meet a herd of 300 wild reindeer. After hand-feeding them, savour a hot meal inside a traditional hut, while listening to enchanting stories and songs that have been passed down through generations.

Later, there's time for you both to unwind at a private lakeside spa with a traditional sauna, heated in advance for your comfort. Enjoy the soothing warmth of the steam, then, for the full Finnish experience, cool off in the icy lake waters or simply roll in the snow!

Afterwards, your guide will take the two of you onto the frozen lake to hunt for the Northern Lights. Enjoy a hot cup of blueberry tea as you gaze up at the stunning starry skies, a perfect end to a day of relaxation and adventure.

Day 6: Departure day

After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to bid farewell to Lapland: but hold on to treasured memories of a magical trip. You'll be transferred back to the airport in plenty of time for your flight home.
