Day 1: A Land of Living History
Get ready for Cairo! Day 2: Pyramid Wonders
Get energized for the exciting day ahead of you with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, before you jump right into the wonders of today. And today does hold some truly miraculous sights indeed, as your journey leads you to the famous Giza Plateau, home to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the mystique-clouded Sphinx and Valley Temple. Optionally, you have a chance to learn about the mystery of Egyptian Solar Ships at the Solar Boat Museum in front of Cheops Pyramid. Feeling hot by now under the Egyptian sun? Good thing you'll have a tasty lunch at a local restaurant first, before continuing today's thrilling tour of historical Egypt towards Sakkara, the cementary of the kingdom's ancient capital Memphis. The Sakkara Complex hosts first ever built Djoser Pyramid, showing you the differences and advances in Egyptian Pyramid-building techniques. With this trip through legendary Memphis and its famous necropolis your journey through relics of a time long gone comes to an end and you will return to the hotel for the evening at your disposal.

Day 3: Time travelling through Cairo
Today, you will most definitely be able to quench your thirst of ancient Egypt when visiting the Egyptian Museum. As the worlds largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities it has everything your explorer heart desires, including the world-renowned mask of child king Tutankhamen and countless other artefacts depicting the lifes and mostly deaths of legendary Egyptian Pharaos from sarcophagi over mummies to masks. Fuel up during lunch at a local restaurant to be ready for the remainder of the day.
Next on your travels through Cairo will be the citadel of Salah El Din, the famous medieval Islamic fortification site, also including Mohamed Ali Alabaster mosque inside the complex. Originally built as protective measure against crusaders, you'll be taken back in time walking amongst this grand defensive fortress overlooking the city. Move on to yet another impressive building of Cairo to the Hanging Church in the midst of Coptic Cairo. This famous construction derived its common name from its location on top of the southern tower gate of the old Babylon fortress, with its nave being suspended over a passage. Let the church tell you its story itelf when you enter this spectacular structure with its many impressive biblical designs decorating it. Conclude your day through the centers of Cairo with a visit of Islamic Cairo, exploring Cairo's oldest bazaar Khan El Khalili. Day 4: The charm of Egypt
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, today the choice is yours. Or rather, the choices, because today it is up to you to decide how to deepen your Egyptian experience. One most definitely memorable choice would be to join an optional tour to the second capital of Egpyt, Alexandria. With one of the most important defensive strongholds along the Mediterranean sea coast, the Quaitbay Citadel, an equally impressive historical experience is waiting for you. Commemorating the legendary ancient Alexandria library is the new and much acclaimed Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Finally, on this excursion to Alexandria the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, cut out of solid rock, are a true legacy of Roman history in Egypt.
