Day 1: Welcome to Colombia

Upon arrival at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, you will be met by your driver, who will transfer you to your hotel in the city. After checking in, freshen up after your flight and relax before enjoying a welcome dinner at El Cielo Restaurant.

Located in the Zona G area of Rosales in the Colombian capital, this acclaimed restaurant offers modern Colombian cuisine, prepared by chefs using innovative techniques such as the cryo-kitchen.

Day 2: Discover the city of Bogota & relax at a top spa

Embark on a city tour and visit historic Bogota, passing through the Colon Theater, San Carlos Palace, Presidential Palace of Nariño, Bolivar Square, the Capitol, Town Hall, and Primada Cathedral. After a visit to the Gold Museum, ride the cable car to Monserrate, and enjoy an excellent view of the Colombian capital.

High above the city, you will have lunch at San Isidro restaurant, which offers exquisite French fare.

Day 3: Explore the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira

Today you will head to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira. This spectacular feat of engineering was built in a mine, 180m below the earth's surface. Spend some time exploring this magnificent salt cathedral. Visit the Stations of the Cross, the dome, the ramp, the choir, the balconies, the narthex complex, and the large naves of the cathedral.

Afterward, embark on a panoramic tour of the town of Zipaquiraa. Later, enjoy lunch at El Portico, a slow-food restaurant that offers its own take on traditional Colombian cuisine. After lunch, head to the Entremonte Wellness Hotel & Spa in the town of Apulo, which will be your home for the next two nights.

After breakfast, enjoy the hotel facilities before checking out and heading to El Dorado International Airport in Bogota. Today, you will continue your adventure to El Peñol, a stunning region overlooking a magnificent reservoir. 

First, catch a flight to Medellin, where you will be picked up and driven to Bubble Sky. At this unique glamping accommodation, you will sleep under the stars of the Colombian sky, surrounded by spectacular nature and protected by a transparent bubble.

The region offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and water sports, should you wish to get out and about.

Day 6: Fine cuisine at an acclaimed Medellin restaurant

After your unique glamping experience, you will transfer to a hotel in the city of Medellin today.

Tonight, a wonderful dinner awaits at Carmen Restaurant. Situated within a beautiful house in the neighborhood of El Poblado, Carmen Restaurant features a cozy, elegant atmosphere. Day 7: Discover the sights of Medellin

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. At the agreed time, a tour guide will pick you up for a panoramic city tour where you will learn more about some of the most interesting places in Medellin.

First, visit Barefoot Park (Parque de los Pies Descalzos) and Botero Square where you’ll see sculptures by the Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Continue on to the Metropolitan Cathedral and Nutibara's Hill where you will find the Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical Antioquia village, complete with a church, mayor's office, local food restaurants, and craft shops.

Finally, you will fly from Medellin to Cartagena.

Day 8: Venture to Colombia's Caribbean coastline

Cartegna is a Spanish colonial port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Today, enjoy a panoramic tour through the lovely neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, and Manga, where the elegant streets are lined with stately mansions.

Continue to the Popa Convent, where you can take in wonderful views of the city below. Visit San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, a Spanish military building where you can go on a walking tour through underground galleries and tunnels.

Then, venture to the Walled City and wander through the district's main squares, streets, and churches, including the entrance to the Inquisition Palace.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred by boat to your hotel on Isla Barú, near the Rosario archipelago.

On the Gabriel Garcia Marquez literary menu experience, you will become a character of the Colombian author's wonderful stories by tasting the dishes that Gabo serves in his tales. This is a 3-hour culinary journey featuring six flavors extracted from the passages of Marquez's books. Day 11: Goodbye Colombia

Your Colombian adventure comes to an end today. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Cartagena Airport to catch your onward flight.
