Day 2: Visit the Highlights of Rio

After spending the first night in Rio, you can look forward to the most beautiful moments in the metropolis!

After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and start the day on an exciting day. You will first be taken to the top of Mount Corcovado for breathtaking views of the city center. Corcovado is home to the famous statue of Christ that surrounds the city. It is 38 meters high and represents the faith and goodness of Carioca, the people of Rios.

There is a stop to visit the Maracana (outside only) and the opportunity to learn a little about the history of the last phase of the football World Cup in 1950 and 2014.

During this half-day tour, you will also see the Selaron Stairs, Sambadrome, and the Cathedral.

Day 3: With the cable car to the Sugar Loaf

Today you can look forward to a trip to the famous Sugar Loaf and the old town of Rio. After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and start another exciting day in Brazil´s mega-metropolis. Two cable cars take you from the Urca district via the Morro de Urca to the Morro de Pão de Açúcar, the Sugar Loaf. This granite block, which is now a symbol of Rio, was called "pau-nh-acuga" by the natives, which means high, pointed mountain. This became "Pão de Açúcar" in Portuguese, meaning carrot. The 360 ​​° panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf at an altitude of 395 m above sea level is breathtaking. You can look out over the golden beaches, the green rainforest, and a thriving city.

After a guided tour of the Santa Teresa district. Day 4: Journey to Iguazu

Breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the airport with your guide to take the flight to Foz do
Iguaçu. Once arrived, a car will wait for you to take you to your Hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the Brazilian side of the falls. 

Be dazzled by one of the great wonders of the world, Iguazu Falls, home to more than 270 breathtaking waterfalls. After passing through the visitors’ center, continue your tour to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Take a 1-kilometer walk and marvel at the surrounding beauty. This walk offers you an amazing panoramic view of the falls and an up-close view of the Devil’s Throat Waterfall.

Your tour ends at the top of Iguazu Falls, which can be accessed by stairs or the Panoramic Elevator. Then, follow the catwalk to the Porto Canoas Space, where you can see the Iguazu River. After the end of your tour, your van will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Afterward, visit the bird park of Foz do Iguazu with more than 150 different species. In huge aviaries, you have the opportunity to experience and observe macaws, parrots, toucans, etc. up close. Aves Parque is an internationally recognized center for the recreation and protection of birds in the lush Atlantic rainforest.

Day 5: Marvel At The Devil's Throat

After breakfast, we drive to the Argentine - Brazilian border, to the impressive waterfalls of Iguazu. Over 275 waterfalls plunge into the depths over an extension of 2.7 km. Together with our German-speaking guide, we take a small train to the best viewpoint of the waterfalls, the “Garganta del Diablo”. 80 m, the thundering masses of water plunge into the depths directly at the edge in front of us. As the name suggests, this is the highest part of the Iguazu Falls: a gigantic water spectacle, the roar, the spray and the power of this natural spectacle will leave a lasting impression on us. Various viewpoints along the footbridges offer varied perspectives.

Travel To Manaus

Foz Do Iguaçu - Manaus

Day 6: Travel To Manaus

After breakfast at the hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to northern Manaus. There you will be picked up from the airport, brought to your hotel, and have the remaining day at leisure. Here you can get a little glimpse into the "gateway to the Amazon" Manaus, which is also often referred to as the "Paris of the tropics". The old town consists of ancient buildings, which were built in the “Art Noveau” style at the beginning of the 20th century from parts that came by ship from Europe.

Day 7: Experience the "Meeting of the Waters"

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Manaus and the journey will begin, by boat and bus, through nature to the lodge, which is accessible only by water. After a car and boat trip and a shortstop where the Amazon rivers start, it continues on four wheels, before you get back in another boat. Arrived at the lodge, lunch will be served. Immediately thereafter, it´s time to explore by boat to experience flora and fauna in the middle of the Amazon. In the afternoon departure for a canoe trip in this region, which is an ideal place to observe animals such as monkeys, sloths and a good variety of birds.

Survival Jungle Tour

Day 8: Survival Jungle Tour

In the early morning, weather permitting, experience a sunrise on the Amazon River. You may also spot morning-active animals on this occasion. After breakfast at the lodge, you will start a survival jungle tour: your experienced guide will not only explain the diverse flora and fauna of the region but also show you how to survive in the jungle! On the boat trip, you can observe animals on the shore or in the water. With a little luck, you will see a few caimans in the evening!

Day 9: Visit the Native Tribes of the Amazon

After breakfast, visit the Caboclos house, opportunity to know their customs and their culture and way of life. Return for lunch.

In the afternoon we will fish piranhas and with luck, other fish species. A unique opportunity to admire the beauty of the place and then return to the lodge.

Dinner at 19:00 and the night is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the jungle.

Day 10: Back to Manaus

After breakfast at the lodge, you say goodbye to the rainforest and are driven back to Manaus, where you arrive at the airport around noon. You will fly back to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your accommodation.
