Check in and spend some time relaxing. In the afternoon, your guide awaits you in the lobby for a tour of the historical center of La Paz. Start at the Plaza San Francisco, the city's main square and continue to Sagarnaga street, where you can find wonderful artisan handicrafts. Stop at the "Mercado de las Brujas", the witch market. Here, ingredients for ceremonial offerings are sold - from coca leaves and miniature figurines to llama fetuses. Continue the tour across the different markets of San Pedro, before concluding in the political heart of the city, Plaza Murillo, where the presidential palace and the National Congress are located. In the evening, return to your hotel and spend a relaxing night.

Day 2: View the City from Above in a Gondola
Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Then, your guide is expecting you in the lobby for a trip to the most beautiful viewpoints in the city, as well as the otherworldly Moon Valley. La Paz is one of the highest capitals in the world and surrounded by the impressive peaks of the Andes. Visit the K'Illi K'Illi Mirador and the Laykakota park, from where you have an impressive panoramic view of the city. Then move on to the Montículo in the bohemian Sopocachi neighborhood, a classic spot to take romantic pictures.
In 2014, La Paz completed the construction of a gondola system. Travel up the mountain in style, while enjoying the view down of the different neighborhoods of the city.
In the afternoon, your guide will take you south into the fantastic Moon Valley. Named for its lunar-like rock formations, this is a great spot to explore and climb around.

La Paz - Tiwanaku - Copacabana
Day 3: Visit the Ruins of Tiwanaku
Enjoy a strengthening breakfast at the hotel, before it's time to leave La Paz. You travel to Tiwanaku, an impressive archeological site of pre-Columbian ruins. Explore the well-preserved ruins, before continuing along the shore of Lake Titicaca and the Andes mountains to Copacabana. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend a relaxing night on the shores of the world-famous Titicaca lake.

Copacabana - Yampupata - Yumani, Sun Island
Day 4: Hike along Lake Titicaca
Board a motorboat in the morning and disembark for a hiking trek on the Yampupata peninsula. Starting at the caves of Lourdes, make a pit stop in the small village of Zampaya, before reaching Yampupata, another village on the lakeshore. From here a boat takes you to the Isla del Sol, the island of the sun. Disembark and explore the old Inca palace of Pilkokaina, before heading on to Yumani, where you have an amazing view over the lake and the entire region. Check into your hotel in Yumani and enjoy a quiet and relaxing night.

Yumani, Sun Island - La Paz - Uyuni
Day 5: Explore the Island of the Moon
Wake up early today and start the day with a delicious breakfast. Then take another short motorboat ride to Isla de la Luna, the island of the moon. Here, you visit the Temple of the Ñustas, the virgin princesses of the Inca. From here, return to Copacabana for lunch, and then travel on to the airport of La Paz, from where you will fly to a very special location: Uyuni. Located next to the world's largest salt flat, Uyuni is a spot you cannot miss. Check into your hotel in the city and prepare yourself for tomorrow's adventures.

Day 6: Explore the Salt Desert of Uyuni
Leave the hotel early in the morning for an amazing day trip across the Salar de Uyuni. Driving across the flat white surface of the salt desert feels like being on a different planet. The salt stretches into the horizon in every direction, with no indication of an end. After about 30 minutes of driving, you reach the village of Colchani. Here, you visit the salt exploration museum, as well as the former salt hotel. Then head back into the desert to reach the Island of Incahuasi. Lost in the middle of the desert, this volcanic island offers an incredible view over the desert and the volcanoes that surround it. In the afternoon, return to Uyuni for your flight back to La Paz. In the capital, your driver will be expecting you at the airport to take you to your hotel for a relaxing last night in Bolivia.
