Negombo
Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka
Yubowan! Our representative will welcome you to this amazing and tremendous get-away on the well-known teardrop island.
After landing at Katunayake International Airport, your chauffer and guide will take you to your accommodation by the sea. Check-in at your hotel and relax or explore the amazing beaches of Negombo.

Day 2: Explore the cultural triangle
After a hearty breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Dambulla. Take the scenic route to the hill country and finally check into your room in your selected resort. Dambulla is in the hub of Sri Lanka's panoramic ancient reigns, bordering the Central Highlands, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
En route, you will visit the Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, which is the largest and best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. It is a fully functioning temple since its inception over two thousand years ago.
There are more than 80 documented caves in the area. The major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings.

Day 3: Hike the Sigiriya Rock
After a relaxed breakfast, spend your day at leisure and at your own pace.
In the evening though, grab your cameras and trekking shoes and head off to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, to view a very memorable sunset.
Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. As the Eighth Wonder of the World, this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archeological importance and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The 200 meter high Sigiriya rock plateau has been formed by the magma of an extinct volcano and is surrounded by jungle.

Day 4: Excursion to the wilderness
After breakfast, you’ll head to the second cultural hub city of Polonnaruwa. It is Sri Lanka’s splendid medieval capital and was established as the first city of the land in the 11th Century, A.D.
After lunch, you will hop into a jeep for a safari in the Kaudualla National Park.
The safari in the largest wildlife sanctuary of Sri Lanka lasts around 3 hours, depending on sightings, and is always accompanied by a knowledgeable naturalist guide.
Observe spotted macaques and larger monkeys, spotted deer, crocodiles, and sometimes even leopards and watch these animals in their natural environment - a true adventure for all ages.

Dambulla - Kandy
Day 5: Journey to Kandy
After a delicious breakfast, you will head towards Kandy, the capital of the hill country, which is rich in culture and tradition. Check-in at the hotel and spend some time at leisure. In the late afternoon, you will visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, the tooth temple, and enjoy a cultural & traditional Sri Lankan dance show.
Kandy, located in the central highlands has an urban buzz merged with great history and is surrounded by beautiful hills with refreshing lush greenery.

Day 6: A scenic train ride to Ella
Today, a cultural local train experience to Ella will take you across authentic deep-green tea plantations and jungles with stunning views as the tracks snake along the edge of mountains, overlooking huge valleys of rolling tea plantations, small villages, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls. It is actually featured as one of the best train journeys in the world.
In Ella, you will disembark your train and head on to visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge.

Day 7: Fly to the Maldives
After so much culture, nature, and meeting people you are set for total relaxation. You will fly to the Maldives and settle into your deluxe water villa with a pool at the Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa.
Immerse yourself in the beauty and vastness of the ocean. Built upon wooden stilts above the shimmering turquoise lagoon, and with floor to ceiling windows, an unforgettable panoramic view is guaranteed.

Day 8: An underwater dream
When thinking about the Maldives, the word diving immediately pops into one's head. Even divers that are not certified can take a dip in the indescribable beauty of the colorful underwater world.
The least you can do is put on goggles and a snorkel to have a glimpse into the unknown from the surface. Be sure, to meet masses of colorful fish and maybe even one of the massive turtles.

Day 9: Fun on the Indian Ocean
Of course, the island offers a number of other activities: try canoeing, catamaran sailing, speed boat drives, surfing or windsurfing, relax with your favorite book, maybe even in your private Jacuzzi.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will provide you with some of the freshest fish and seafood you’ve ever eaten in your life. Yes, Maldivians eat fish for breakfast. If this is not your first choice, there is a huge number of other dishes to satisfy you.

Day 10: Farewell to the Maldives
It is time to say "goodbye" to the friends you’ve made over the course of your incredible tour. Depending on the flight time, you can still relax or check out of the hotel to start your journey home!
