Day 1: Welcome to Romania!

Say Hello lively Romania! Our guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Are you ready to get your first impressions? 

You will have a private tour of Bucharest and a short introduction to the legend of Dracula. Find out who was Vlad the Impaler and what connection does he have with the most important city in Romania, Bucharest. In the evening you can enjoy the animated pubs and restaurants in the old town. Day 2: Visit Dracula's Castle!

Day 2 will take you to the Royal court of Vlad the Impaler in Targoviste. Visit the centuries-old buildings and discover why he is such a beloved figure in Romania.

The beautiful mountain roads, which offer numerous breathtaking views, will soon take you to Transylvania. Pay a visit to Bran castle, also known as Dracula's castle where you will understand more about this Romanian hero. After a short tour in the city you will have the opportunity to get lost on the colorful streets of the citadel and enjoy its romantic atmosphere. Day 4: Step into Dracula's Story!

Rise and shine - an exciting day awaits you! Forget about history and step into the story - Dracula's story. Bram Stocker placed the castle of Dracula in an enchanting, wild landscape, near Bistrita in the Borgo pass. You will have the chance to visit the region!

Explore this wild corner of nature, lay down in the grass by Colibita lake and load yourself with pure energy. Spend the night in Dracula's castle, a hotel designed after the description of Bram Stocker. Are you already impatient?

Day 5: Off to Cluj Napoca!

On day 5 nature will remain behind you and you will enter the real world again with a visit of Cluj, one of the most modern cities in Romania. People often call it the unofficial capital of Transylvania.

When Jonathan came to visit count Dracula in Transylvania he spent his first night in Cluj. Now the city looks completely different, but you can still admire the old buildings and pebbled streets while tasting a gulas in one of the many cozy restaurants around the town. Cluj has its own unique charm and is definitely worth a visit!

Day 6: Enjoy the Medieval Architecture of Sibiu!

Going back on the footsteps of Vlad the Impaler, you will visit Huniazilor castle, one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Europe, where Vlad was locked in prison. You will not only continue to follow the story of Dracula but will also enjoy a great piece of medieval architecture!

The afternoon will find you in Sibiu, another astonishing medieval town, where you will have a guided tour which will help you feel the atmosphere of the city. At the end the day you will have some free time to explore the city at your own pace. If you feel tired relax in one of the great cafes in Piata Mare - a picturesque square in the heart of Sibiu!

Return to Bucharest

Bucharest

Day 7: Return to Bucharest

Today's journey will take you back to Bucharest, but not before stopping to admire the ruins of Poenari Citadel, the real castle of Vlad the Impaler. The fortress is closed for restoration, but you can admire it from the road.

Back in Bucharest, your guide will take you to see a replica of this fortress in a park in Bucharest. Afterwards, you'll have time to rest in your hotel room or make a final visit to the old town.

Day 8: Goodbye, Romania!
