Today you will be met by your driver and privately transferred to your hotel in the historic city center of Mexico City.

Day 2: Immerse Yourself in Mexico City

Today, after breakfast, your guide will pick you up to start your journey to the Diego Rivera Mural Museum, where the guide will describe the characters and stages of the Mexican history that the artist portrayed.

Stroll through the Alameda Central Park, considered the oldest public garden in Mexico until you reach the Palacio de Bellas Artes.

Here, you will admire its architecture, history, and works of great Mexican muralists.

Next, continue on Madero and Cinco de Mayo streets to enjoy the historical landmarks and architecture until you reach the Zocalo, or Constitution Square, where you will admire the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Government Palace.

Finally, visit the amazing National Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important museums in Mexico.

Day 3: Explore Iconic Sites of Mexico

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to take you to the majestic archaeological site of Teotihuacan.

Located 50 km from downtown Mexico City, the so-called 'City of the Gods', is an ancient city that reached its full splendor in the Classic Period of the Mesoamerican cultures.

Climb the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon, visit the temples and palaces and, of course, walk the famous Causeway of the Dead.

On your way back, visit the Basilica Of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which is the most visited Catholic temple in the world after the Vatican.

The Basilica is an icon of the city and a must if you want to learn about the lore of the contemporary Mexican society.

Day 4: Explore Puebla

Today, after breakfast, your transportation will pick you up to take you to the colonial city of Puebla.

After checking into your hotel, hear about the history of the cathedral and visit local sites. You will see different religious monuments and reach Fonda de Santa Clara.

While you're there, try their delicious chalupas! As this is located on the “Calle de los Dulces” (the Street of the Sweets), you will have the chance to visit the oldest sweet shop in the city, “La Gran Fama”, where you will find the traditional tortillas de Santa Clara, dulces de leche, camotes, and more.

Afterwards, head towards the Artist Neighbourhood and the traditional handicraft market to reach the oldest tavern in the city. 

Finish this tour with a dessert in one of the most traditional places in Puebla. Don't forget to try their famous flan.

Day 5: Cook Like a Local

After breakfast, you will have a free morning to continue exploring the beauty of Puebla.

We suggest that you visit the famous Museo Amparo, considered one of the best museums in Latin America.

Later, take a cooking class in Cholula. You will go shopping at the market with the chef, picking up the ingredients for your lunch.

The chef's menu includes recipes from nearby communities in an effort to keep traditional Mexican techniques and ingredients alive.

There are several dishes that you will be able to choose from, but it will also depend on the season.

Puebla - Oaxaca

Day 6: Discover the Colorful Streets of Oaxaca

Today you will be picked up at your hotel after breakfast to take you to Oaxaca City

In the afternoon, you will join a guided walking tour around the colorful streets of Oaxaca beginning from the former Monastery of Santo Domingo.

This place also hosts the Museum of Cultures and Tomb 7 of Monte Albán, where the majority of the Mesoamerican items known to the day have been discovered.

You will then admire the impressive Temple of Santo Domingo with its baroque decorations, the Alcalá Street, the cathedral and the Plaza de la Constitución, with vibrant markets, full of aromas and tastes.

Once you're back in the hotel, you will have a free evening to rest and enjoy on your own.

Enjoy the delicious restaurants that can be found in the city.

Day 7: Explore the Ancient Sites of Mexico

After breakfast, you will be picked up for a lovely excursion.

Start with a visit of the ancient Tule Tree. The tree is approximately two thousand years old and it's one of the biggest trees in the world!

Continue your adventure at Hierve el Agua, an imposing petrified waterfall located in the mountain range.

You'll have the option to bathe in its mineral-rich waters.

After this, you will go to Mitla, where the most important religious Zapotec center during the Postclassic period is located. Its buildings are richly decorated with geometric shapes and are a clear example of the splendor and development of this ancient civilization.

After this, conclude your day with a visit to the village of Teotitlán del Valle ("Place of the Gods" in Nahuatl).

Day 8: Embrace the Local Life

Today you will take a cooking class with a regional chef to make the delicious black mole.

Start the morning in the market in order to buy the ingredients for your cooking class.

Learn how to make the most famous mole in Mexico and then enjoy a delicious meal!

Afterwards, you will visit the spectacular archaeological site of Monte Albán, located on the top of a hill at the center of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, the birthplace of the Zapotec civilization.

Walk through La Gran Plaza and see the Galeria de Los Danzantes” (Gallery of the Dancers), the Building J, and much more!
