Spend the morning visiting Andasibe National Park. Here, you will find 11 species of lemurs, many species of birds, large chameleons, an orchid park, rosewood trees, lianas, etc.
In this forest, the largest of the lemurs is found - the Indri.

Diego Suarez - Montagne d'Ambre
Day 4: Explore The Stunning Montagne D'Ambre National Park
Today is the day for you to begin your northern adventure. Take a domestic flight toward Diego Suarez. This coastal city is not only famous for its harbor, but also for its wonderful bays and beaches.
Here, your car and English-speaking driver will be already waiting for you to take you to Montagne d'Ambre National Park. Created in 1958, this national park is located in a volcanic area and it is the home of a fantastic rainforest, preserved from any human influence.
Discover the many waterfalls such as Antomboka, Antakarana; the sacred waterfalls and the Mahasarika Lake, and you will understand why the National Park is considered the water tank of the region. This place is a paradise for birdwatching, and it will also give you the chance to encounter some awesome reptiles and, of course, lemurs! Do not miss the chance to have a picnic in the park!

Red Tsingy - Ankarana Reserve
Day 5: See The Rare Red Tsingy
Today, you will head to the Ankarana region, a journey of about 5 hours. On your way to the Ankarana National Park, an amazing site awaits you. It is called "the red tsingy" and it is the result of rock erosion due to the work of wind and rain during hundreds of years.
The place is of a stunning beauty. This miracle of nature can disappear quickly if not respected. In the middle of a savanna-like area with wild palm trees is the path that leads you to this special tsingy.
The walk can be quite difficult, but it will definitely worth it. After a picnic lunch, you will drive to the Ankarana region, where you will stay at the Ankarana Lodge.

Ankarana Reserve
Day 6: Discover The Grey Tsingy Of Ankarana
After breakfast, head to the Ankarana reserve. This relatively short journey will bring you to an amazing rocky world. Indeed, this park is well-known for its rocky peaks: the "Grey Tsingy of Ankarana".
These incredible karstic rock formations exist only in the north and in the southwest of Madagascar. Follow the path that leads you to the "Benavony" trail, where you will find a suspended bridge while walking to the lower parts of this famous tsingy.
Do not miss the wildlife encounters, such as species of endemic lemurs of the area! Enjoy the typical vegetation of Ankarana like the pachypodium and baobab trees, to name a few.
Have a picnic lunch in the park.
