Day 1: Jambo! Kenya Welcomes You!

Welcome to Kenya! Your guide is expecting you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is at your disposal. Use it to relax after the flight, or if you're feeling adventurous, how about exploring the city?

Nairobi has so much to offer - optional excursions include a visit to the National Museum and the fabulous Karen Blixen Museum. Or, how about a visit to the giraffe center? The choice is yours! 

Samburu National Reserve

Day 2: See Amazing Wildlife In Samburu

You'll start the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. After,  your guide will pick you up to travel north to Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is famous for frequent sightings of reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and long-necked gerenuks.

Next, you'll arrive at your lodge for lunch and to take a short break. After lunch, you'll head out into the wilderness for an afternoon game drive. This is a great opportunity to spot wildlife, as well as, to meet members of the local Samburu tribes that live in this area.

Enjoy the open spaces and the untouched nature in the reserve, followed by a dinner when you return back to the lodge.

Day 3: Explore The Animal Kingdom

Rise early in the morning for another exiting game drive! You'll catch the animals before they hide from the day's heat and  score some unforgettable photographs. Afterwards, you'll return to the lodge for a short break and a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, you'll head out again for another game drive. With a little bit of luck, you may encounter a herd of elephants drinking at one of the many water holes in the area,  crocodiles waiting patiently for a chance to catch their dinner or maybe even spot a lion or cheetah.

Day 4: Watch Flamingos At Lake Nakuru!

Today, it's time to leave Samburu and head towards Lake Nakuru National Park, that's situated at the heart of the Great Rift Valley surrounded by beautiful Lake Nakuru.

Lake Nakuru is home to hundreds pink flamingos! Watch these majestic animals, as they fly over the water or patiently search for food in the shallow waters.

The park also houses the "Big Five": lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Don't miss your chance to spot these magnificent animals in their natural habitat!

Upon arrival at your lodge, you'll have some time to relax then depart for a game drive and explore the area.

Day 5: Journey To The Impressive Masai Mara

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you'll pack up and travel towards Masai Mara. You'll enjoy yet another game drive on your way out of Lake Nakuru. 

Your next destination, the Masai Mara, is know as the quintessential African experience. It enchants visitors with dramatic skies, open plains, and some of the World's impressive animals.

You'll arrive at the lodge just in time to enjoy a delicious lunch, then hop back onto your adventure vehicle to explore the Mara and to witness its wildlife!

Day 6: Explore The Mara by Car Or Balloon

Today, is a day packed with a full day of exploring in the Mara! First, you'll head out into the wild to see the beautiful savanna and the immense variety of wildlife it has to offer.

As an option, you can take a balloon ride over the Mara at sunrise. This is an unforgettable experience! If you have pre-booked this activity, you are picked up by your guide before sunrise and then taken to the launch site. Next, you will silently glide through the dawn, sometimes at tree height, sometimes much higher for a better overview over the early-morning movement of the gigantic animal herds that roam the ground.

Upon landing, a delicious breakfast will be waiting for you and then you will then return to camp.

Lake Naivasha

Day 7: Spot Hippos & Floating Papyrus Islands

Today, you will explore one of the few freshwater lakes in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha. The lake offers many fascinating sights: a large population of hippos, floating islands of papyrus, and a vast variety of bird species!

You'll have a chance to visit a local town, where you can visit the market and shop for local handicrafts, as well as, stock up for the remainder of the trip. In the evening, spend the night at your comfortable hotel by the lakeshore and enjoy the romantic tranquility of the lake after dark.

Day 8: Explore The Landscapes of Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park where you'll take the scenic route past Nairobi. 

In Amboseli, if time permits there will be an afternoon game drive en route to your comfortable lodge in the heart of Amboseli National Park with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which looms dramatically on the
skyline.

Day 9: Discover the Wildlife of Amboseli

Start your day with a view of the vast lake beds and swamp areas of Amboseli for a full-day game drive. Did you know the park is most famous for its elephant herds? They are often found near the swampy areas of the park, standing knee-deep in the water and spraying themselves to keep cool in the relentless African heat.

Elephants are not the only game to see here - you may spot cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and many different types of gazelles who also call Amboseli home. Get ready for some gorgeous pictures with these magnificent creatures before the backdrop of massive Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 10: Soak Of The Sun On The Beaches Of Mombasa!

Today you'll leave the wilderness behind for the beautiful beaches of Mombasa! On your way out of Amboseli, you'll enjoy yet another game drive for some last-minute wildlife spotting.

Upon arrival at your beach hotel in Mombasa, lunch will be served. Use the remainder of the day to relax by the ocean or the pool. Or, experience one of the optional excursions, such as a tour of Mombasa that connects you with the history and active culture of this thriving city or a trip to Wasini Island, offering you the opportunity  snorkeling and the opportunity to see dolphins.

Day 11: Create Your Own Adventure On The Beaches In Mombasa

The next three days are yours to spend however you want!

You relax at your luxurious hotel or in a hammock under a coconut tree on the beach? Keep in mind other variety of optional activities can be arranged by your guide. How about exploring more of the fascinating sights of thrilling Mombasa or a visit to Pili Pipa for a magical experience of swimming with dolphins?

Day 12: Experience Bamburi Beach

You'll wake up to another day of relaxing your mind, body and soul at your beach hotel.

Choose to take a stroll down the white-sanded beach or jump into the ocean for a refreshing bath! Enjoy the entertainment program at the hotel, or design your own schedule by venturing out into the city.

Day 13: Enjoy Your Last Day At Bamburi Beach

Today marks the third full day at your beach hotel.

If you haven't yet, today is the perfect time to feast on the sumptuous local seafood barbecue, or try one of the delicious fresh-pressed juices at the bar.

Use the time to disconnect yourself from the busy life outside and just relax. Enjoy yourself!

Day 14: Farewell, Kenya!

Today, it's time to say goodbye to Kenya! 

You'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, then your guide will transfer you to the airport. Although your vacation is over, you'll board your flight home with an endless supply of wonderful memories!
