Starting at Michelangelo’s Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill), you can look out over the Roman Forum area, before continuing to walk amongst it and the ruins of Colosseum.

Optional tours today include a visit to Villa d’Este and Villa Hadrian, the former villa of the Renaissance, famed for its beautiful fountains and the beauty of its Italian Garden, while the later's ruins are synonymous with elegance.

Another option is an excursion to the Castelli Romani, an isolated group of small villages rising from the Roman countryside famous for the beautiful landscape, the food, and the wine. During the tour, you will taste good wines and typical foods like Porchetta and Pecorino.

Rome - Civita Di Bagnoregio - Florence

Day 5: Journey to Florence

Today, depart Rome and head for Florence, with a fascinating stop at Civita di Bagnoregio, an extraordinary Etruscan town in northern Lazio.
