Day 1: Welcome to Ecuador
Welcome to Ecuador! Upon your arrival at Quito airport, a driver will be ready to take you to your hotel. Enjoy the scenic views of this vibrant capital city during your drive. Today is yours to relax and acclimate—either unwind at your hotel or explore the charming streets of Quito at your own pace.

Day 2: A city tour & chocolate tasting
Quito, Ecuador's capital, is a gem nestled between the volcanoes of Pichincha, Cayambe, and Antisana. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1978, its historic center is the largest and best-preserved in Latin America.
After breakfast, visit Panecillo Hill for panoramic views and a statue of the Virgin of Quito. Explore the colonial heart of the city, including the Compañía de Jesús Church, Sucre Theater, Grand Place, and Quito Cathedral.
End the day with a chocolate tasting, discovering why Ecuador excels in fine cacao production and savoring ten varieties of Pacari Chocolate.

Day 3: A boat tour on Cuicocha Lake
Start your morning with a scenic drive to Otavalo, passing through lush rose-growing regions. You'll have time to admire and "smell the roses."
Next, enjoy a half-hour boat tour on Cuicocha Lake. Don’t miss the chance to see the two lush islands nestled in the heart of this volcanic crater, formed by ancient eruptions.
Conclude your journey with a visit to an Ecuadorian rose plantation. Ecuador is renowned for its stunning roses, which are grown at 2,500 meters above sea level, resulting in their vibrant colors.

Otavalo - quito
Day 4: Otavalo's famous market
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to Otavalo's renowned Indigenous market, the largest in the Ecuadorian Andes. Here, you’ll meet the "Otavaleños," dressed in traditional espadrilles, brown felt hats, and blue ponchos. Known as the wealthiest indigenous group in Ecuador, they are expert artisans and sellers.
After indulging in some shopping, enjoy lunch near the equator and don’t miss the chance to visit the Latitude 0º platform, a 54-meter-wide circular site marking the equatorial line. In the evening you'll return to Quito.

Quito - Coca - Anangu
Day 5: Journey into the Amazon
Take a short flight (40 minutes) from Quito to Francisco de Orellana Airport in Coca. Once you land, board a boat for a scenic ride down the Napo River. Relax as you watch diverse bird species and playful monkeys, and enjoy a picnic during the journey.
Upon arrival at your lodge, spend your evening unwinding - whether you choose to indulge in a soothing massage at the spa or take a dip in the jacuzzi.

Day 6: Experience jungle life
After breakfast, your guide will provide an introduction to the region's rich ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to partake in various activities tailored to the weather, season, and group size. Options include jungle hikes, birdwatching, canoeing, exploring a butterfly garden, and meeting local inhabitants.
For honeymooners, one evening includes a special sunset canoe or kayak trip on Lake Garzacocha. With your guide, you can observe wildlife at dusk while enjoying a drink of your choice, all accompanied by the tranquil sounds of nature.

Day 7: A memorable Amazon adventure

Day 8: Visit to Cotopaxi National Park
Savor a delightful breakfast in your suite before boarding a traditional boat to Coca Airport.
From there, catch a domestic flight to Quito, where you'll be transferred directly to Cotopaxi National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch with hot beverages and local snacks amidst the stunning landscapes of the park.

Cotopaxi National Park - Papallacta
Day 9: Journey to Papallacata
After breakfast, embark on a two-hour horseback ride around the San Agustin hacienda, with the majestic Cotopaxi volcano as your backdrop.
Travel to the Eastern Cordillera, where you’ll be treated to stunning views of mountain lakes and verdant valleys. Arrive at Papallacta, nestled at 3,200 meters above sea level. Spend your evening unwinding in your suite or luxuriate in the soothing thermal baths.

Papallacta - Quito - Puerto Ayora
Day 10: Welcome to the Galapagos
It's time to head to the Galapagos. Take a two-hour flight from Quito to Baltra. Upon arrival, transfer to Santa Cruz and board your yacht - this will be your accommodation. Settle into your cabin before enjoying lunch and a welcome briefing.
In the afternoon, visit the Fausto Llerena Tortoise Breeding Center in Puerto Ayora. Here, you'll see giant tortoises of all ages, from tiny hatchlings to four-foot adults. Interact with these majestic creatures and capture memorable photos with the friendly older tortoises.

Puerto Ayora - Genovesa
Day 11: Birds, sea lions & photography
Have breakfast on the yacht before heading to Genovesa Island, a paradise for bird enthusiasts and photographers. This island is the only place where you can see all three booby species: Blue-footed, Nazca, and Red-footed.
Explore Prince Phillip's Steps, a steep trail leading to a high cliff with stunning views. The area is rich with Palo Santo vegetation and diverse birdlife, including Red-footed Boobies, Short-eared Lava Owls, Galápagos Swallows, and Galápagos Doves.
Further down, enjoy tidal pools where playful sea lions swim. You can partake in various water activities or simply enjoy the breathtaking cliffside views.

Genovesa - Rabida - Santiago
Day 12: Island exploration & snorkeling
Visit Rabida Island, known for its vibrant colors and volcanic diversity, as well as its excellent snorkeling opportunities!
Start at Rabida’s striking maroon sandy beach. After an easy hike, reach a stunning lookout with breathtaking landscapes and excellent birdwatching.
In the afternoon, explore Chinese Hat Islet, located off the southeast coast of Santiago Island. Named for its hat-like summit, this islet offers fascinating geological formations, including lava tubes and flows. Some lava flows, originally formed underwater, have been raised above sea level, with coral heads still visible on the lava.

Santiago - San Cristobal - Lobos
Day 13: Searching for sea lions & more snorkeling
In the morning, visit Witch Hill on the northern coast. This picturesque location features white, powdery sand and is teeming with wildlife, including sea turtles, rays, and various booby species. The clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
In the afternoon, head to Lobos Island, aptly named "Sea Lion Island." Here, you'll be greeted by playful and lively sea lions, and enjoy excellent snorkeling opportunities. Look out for blue-footed and Nazca boobies as you explore this vibrant island.

San Cristobal - Quito
Day 14: Say your farewells
It's time to say goodbye to Ecuador and the Galapagos. First, depart San Cristobal for Quito. From here you'll take your safe flight home!
