Day 2: Explore Split at your own pace

The day is yours to explore Split at your own pace or choose from a range of optional activities.

You might dive into the flavors of Dalmatia on a guided food and culture tour that includes a visit to the lively Green Market where locals shop for fresh produce and traditional specialties.

Alternatively, take a scenic boat trip to the nearby island of Šolta where you can relax by the sea, swim in crystal-clear waters or wander through a peaceful fishing village.

In the evening, enjoy free time to discover Split’s cultural side. Perhaps visit a local art gallery or explore the fascinating Archaeological Museum - the choice is yours.

The magical landscapes of the Plitvice Lakes

Split - Plitvice Lakes - Split

Day 3: The magical landscapes of the Plitvice Lakes

Set off early in the morning for a full-day excursion to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s most breathtaking natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located about 2.5 to 3 hours from Split.

Upon arrival, begin your journey through a magical landscape of 16 terraced lakes connected by cascading waterfalls, wooden boardwalks and scenic forest trails. The lakes' vibrant turquoise hue shifts with the sunlight, minerals, and algae, offering a different view at every turn.

After a day immersed in nature, return to Split in the late afternoon for an overnight stay.

Sailing to Hvar

Split - Hvar

Day 4: Sailing to Hvar

Today, take a morning ferry or catamaran from Split to Hvar Island, arriving in time to settle into your hotel and start exploring.

Spend the afternoon wandering through Hvar Town’s elegant harbor and historic main square, lined with Venetian-era buildings and lively cafés.

As the day winds down, head up to the Spanish Fortress for panoramic sunset views over the town and the nearby Pakleni Islands.

In the evening, consider an optional dinner at a rooftop terrace restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine with stunning views of the Adriatic. Finally, spend the night on Hvar.

Cave explorations in the Adriatic

Hvar - Pakleni Islands - Hvar

Day 5: Cave explorations in the Adriatic

Start the day with an exciting boat excursion from Hvar, either privately or with a group, to explore the stunning highlights of the Adriatic.

Your first stop is the famous Blue Cave on Biševo Island where midday sunlight enters through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in an otherworldly blue glow. This is a truly unforgettable sight.

If the Blue Cave is overcrowded or weather conditions require, your skipper may instead take you to the nearby island of Vis to visit the Green Cave where light filters through the sea in a different, but equally magical way.

On the return journey, stop at the Pakleni Islands to spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing in peaceful coves.

Finally, return to Hvar in the early evening.

Kayaking in Korčula

Hvar - Korčula

Day 6: Kayaking in Korčula

Take a ferry or catamaran transfer to Korčula, often called “mini Dubrovnik” for its charming medieval streets and coastal beauty.

Once settled, enjoy a unique way to explore the island: grab a kayak and paddle through the crystal-clear waters of the Korčula Archipelago, visiting small islands with hidden gems like an ancient stonepit from the Greek and Roman period and a peaceful Franciscan monastery.

Along the way, take breaks to swim and snorkel at secluded pebble beaches. For a taste of island life, you may choose to visit a family-run farm nestled above Korčula town to enjoy homemade snacks or a full 4-course lunch made from traditional local ingredients.

Spend the evening at your leisure, perhaps with an optional seafood dinner along the waterfront. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay in Korčula.

Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”

Korčula - Dubrovnik

Day 7: Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”

Depart Korčula in the morning by ferry or private transfer and travel to Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. After checking into your hotel, take some time to settle in.

In the afternoon, meet your local guide for a private walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town, exploring landmarks like Rector’s Palace, Luza Square, Onofrio’s Fountain, and Brsalje Street. Hear stories of the city’s maritime past, its time as a republic, and its role in Game of Thrones.

After the tour, ride the Dubrovnik Cable Car to Mount Srđ for breathtaking sunset views over the rooftops and sea before returning to town for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Boat trip to the Elafiti Islands

Spend the day wandering through lush Mediterranean landscapes, exploring charming seaside villages, and enjoying delicious local cuisine with helpful recommendations from your skipper.

For those looking for adventure, optional activities like stand-up paddleboarding are available. Whether you’re relaxing on the beach or tasting regional dishes, the day offers a perfect mix of culture and leisure.

Later, return to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon.
