During this 13-day trip, you'll explore the best of Chile including the capital Santiago, and the Chilean Patagonia, whilst also embarking on an six-day Antarctic cruise, flying from Chile to King George Island before boarding your boutique expedition vessel.
Chile highlights include; a guided city tour of Santiago, hiking the Mirador las Torres to experience one of the most awe-inspiring views in all of Patagonia, and visiting the Milodón Caves. Whilst in Antarctica, you'll immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of Antarctica kayaking on crystal-clear waters, cruising among icebergs, encountering unique wildlife such as colonies of penguins, and participating in guided shore excursions. This once-in-a-lifetime trip promises an unforgettable journey!
Prices per person, based on 2 people in double occupancy. Valid until September 2027 (not for Christmas-New Year). Single rates are available on request, as well as upgrades. Welcome to Chile! Arrive in Santiago, the country's capital, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation in the city.
Check-in and take a moment to relax and soak in your surroundings. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city or to rest from your journey.
Santiago de Chile, the vibrant capital, is a haven for the curious traveler. Nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, this cosmopolitan city blends colonial charm with modern elegance.

Day 2: A guided tour of Santiago
It's time to explore Chile's capital. Today, you'll embark on an exclusive guided tour of Santiago. In the morning, your guide will be waiting for you at your hotel ready to show you the sights, sounds, and tastes of this colorful city. Highlights include; the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, Plaza de Armas, and San Cristobal Hill.
After, the evening is free for you to explore the city further independently. Why not visit a restaurant to savor the local flavors and wines of Chile?

Day 3: Journey to Punta Arenas
Say goodbye to Santiago as your journey to Antarctica is about to begin!
The day will start with a transfer to the airport where you'll fly 3-4 hours to Punta Arenas. Upon your arrival at Punta Arenas Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in this charming port city, one of the most visited in Chilean Patagonia. Nestled along the shores of the Magellan Strait, Punta Arenas serves as the capital of the Magallanes and Antarctica Region.
Once you settle in, join the team at the Explorers House for an important briefing. There, you'll receive essential guidelines for your upcoming Antarctic adventure and air cruise. End the day with a delightful welcome dinner, where you can meet your fellow travelers and share your excitement for the journey ahead!

Day 4: The start of your Antarctic voyage
Your air cruise adventure begins today! After breakfast, take an exhilarating flight over the Drake Passage, landing on 25 de Mayo Island, one of the largest islands in the South Shetland archipelago. As you soar through the skies, take in breathtaking views of the Drake Channel, feeling the excitement of approaching the edge of the world.
Upon landing on George Island, you will hop on a Zodiac that will take you directly to the boutique expedition vessel that will be your home in the Antarctic. For the next three days, this ship will be your home as you explore some of Antarctica’s most iconic destinations. Get ready for an unforgettable journey ahead!

Day 5: Explore ice-filled fjords & spectacular icebergs
For the next four days, you'll have the opportunity to cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing along ice-filled fjords and among spectacular icebergs, while enjoying the company of seabirds, penguins, seals, and whales.
No journey is the same and flexibility is the key to success in Antarctica. The Expedition Team plans the voyage route to take advantage of the ever-changing opportunities provided by nature, crafting a unique and extraordinary experience every time.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the buffet, fueling up for the exciting adventure ahead. Today's voyage will take you through some of Antarctica's most stunning and remote regions, with potential visits to the South Shetland Islands, the Antarctic Sound, the Gerlache Strait, and the Penola Strait. Each of these locations offers its own unique landscapes and wildlife, promising an unforgettable experience as you explore the icy wilderness.

Day 9: Say farewell to Antarctica
It's time to say goodbye to Antarctica! Your ship will return you to King George Island where you'll fly back to Punta Arenas.
Back in Chile, you'll be transferred to your accommodation where you can reflect on your adventure in Antarctica, and get ready for the days ahead of the further exploration of Chile!

Day 10: A scenic journey to Puerto Natales
Start the day with a 3-hour bus journey from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales, a city in Chilean Patagonia.
As you leave the city behind, the landscape gradually transforms into a vast, open expanse with rolling hills, grazing sheep, and occasional sightings of guanacos and rheas.
As the bus approaches Puerto Natales, the terrain becomes more dramatic, with the rugged peaks of the Andes Mountains beginning to emerge on the horizon.
Upon arrival at Puerto Natales, you'll be welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for the night.

Day 11: Torres del Paine National Park & Milodón Caves
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel in Puerto Natales and embark on a journey to a beautiful area known for its stunning landscapes. As you travel, you will marvel at the serene lakes, majestic mountains, and expansive rivers that define this area.
After an hour's journey, you'll reach the highlight of the day, visiting the Milodón Cave Natural Monument - a fascinating cave system that offers a glimpse into the lives of the continent’s earliest inhabitants. This unique natural monument tells the stories of ancient explorers and their connection to the land.

Puerto Natales - Torres Del Paine - Puerto Natales
Day 12: Hiking to Mirador las Torres
Hiking the Mirador las Torres / Base las Torres is one of the must-do hikes in Patagonia. This demanding 9-hour hike covers a total of 24km and takes you to the base of the famous granite spires known as the Torres del Paine, one of the most awe-inspiring views in all of Patagonia.
Your guide will be with you at every step to help you along the trail whilst giving you information about your surroundings, the beautiful natural features and ecosystem you'll encounter with every step.

Day 13: Goodbye to Chile
It's time to say goodbye to Chile. You'll be transferred to the airport in Puerto Natales with plenty of time for your safe journey home!
