After spending the first night in Lençois, go on 3-day trek in the Pati Valley, during which you will have the great chance of being hosted in natives' houses. Traverse dazzling and enormous hills, magnificent rivers and exuberant waterfalls!
The high season extends from February to June. Things get quieter in the off-season from August to December.

Day 1: Welcome To Bahia!
Welcome to charming Salvador! One of the oldest cities in Brazil, Salvador is known for its rich culture, hospitable locals, and laid-back atmosphere.
Set against a backdrop of impressive architecture, this attractive coastal destination is a place where entertainment, music and fine cuisine abound, earning it the nickname the 'capital of happiness'. Highlights of the area include its lovely beaches and ocean views, its 17th-century fort, São Joaquim craft market, and its array of fascinating museums.
Enjoy a free evening to relax and take in the cool vibe of the baianos.

Day 2: Take A Panoramic Tour Of Salvador
After breakfast, depart for your half-day Panoramic tour of Salvador. You will be attracted by the extraordinary architectonic and historical heritage of Salvador. Salvador de Bahía, is considered the cultural, religious and sports capital of Brazil. Begin your trip from the Dique Tororó, where you will be able to see the sculptures of orixás created by the Bahian artist Tati Moreno. Moreover, the famous stadium of Fonte Nova is set in the same place.
After that, you will head to the low city, making a stop at the famous church of Nosso Senhor do Bomfim. Stop at the Model Market, a handicraft market where you can get souvenirs to take home.
Your day ends with a visit to the Lacerda Elevator, built to connect the Financial Centre of Salvador with the port and the market. Spend the rest of the afternoon as you please.

Day 3: Delve Into The Baroque Heritage Of Salvador
Have breakfast in the hotel and depart for the Historic tour of the city. Walking on the streets of the historic center of Salvador you will feel like traveling back in time. You will visit the first fort built at the entrance of the All Saints Bay to protect the city from attacks.
The tour begins with a visit to the Barra Lighthouse, passing through the Castro Alves Theatre. Saint Peter Fort and Castro Alves Square are on the way to the historic centre of Pelourinho. You can't miss the historic churches, coffees, restaurants, shops, and buildings of pastel colors.
With more than a thousand houses and monuments built since the 16th century, Salvador boasts the biggest baroque-style architectural heritage in Latin America. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day as you want.

Lençóis
Day 4: Fly To Sublime Lençois
Have breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lençois. Bordering the expansive Chapada Diamantina National Park in Bahia, eastern Brazil, the old diamond-mining town of Lençoisis surrounded by majestic mountains, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls.
Lençois serves as an excellent base from which to explore the magnificent Northeast. This picturesque town features charming cobbled streets lined with vibrant cafes and restaurants, and colorful 19th-century colonial buildings.
Visitors can explore the Casa de Cultura Afranio Peixoto, a museum in honor of a famous local writer. You may also visit the whitewashed Senhor dos Passos Church and explore the Praca Otaviano Alves and Praca Horacio de Matos squares in the town center.

Day 5: Begin The Exciting Pati Valley Trek
It's time to begin your Pati Valley Trek. Trekking in Pati Valley is characterized by extensive flat areas, with some steep ascents and descents and river beds crossings.
It is located between the municipalities of Andaraí and Mucugê. Cross dazzling and enormous hills, magnificent rivers and exuberant waterfalls! Leave Lençóis at 7:00 to start your trekking in the Pati Valley. Walk until Guiné Village, from where you will hike 14km to the beautiful view of the Cachoeirão.
Have a snack and then make your way to your homestay (there is no electricity, only solar energy). Dinner will be served by your hosts. Enjoy your rest and get ready for the next day!

Day 6: Ascend To The Morro Do Castelo
At 7:30, after having a delicious breakfast at your homestay, start the ascent to the Morro do Castelo by a steep path.
Cross a grotto that crosses the hill and climb to the lookouts to take a glimpse of the next steps. This will be the highest you'll get on this expedition to the Pati Valley!
On the descent, a stop at Funil Waterfall to relax your feet and take an energizing shower.

Lençóis
Day 7: Enjoy The Mind-Blowing Landscapes Of Pita Valley
Set off at 6:30 after breakfast and go up the access ramp to the bumba break, from where you will have a beautiful view of the Gerais do Vieira and Rio Preto. The trek today will be longer with 22 km, but very much worth it due to the beautiful landscapes. Have a snack on the trail.
Upon your arrival at Vila do Capão, take your transportation back to Lençóis, still in the Capão Valley, where you will try the typical local jaca heart of the region.

Day 8: Fly Back To Salvador
Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the morning as you please.
In the early afternoon, transfer to the airport to catch your flight bound for Salvador.
Once you land, transfer to the hotel.

Day 9: Farewell, Salvador!
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport in time to board your flight home or to your next destination.
