Day 1: Welcome to the Azores

Upon arrival at Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, Azores, look out for the friendly face of your private transfer who will assist you with your luggage before transferring you to your hotel.

Day 2: Hike through the Caldeira das Sete Cidades

This morning after breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel and driven toward the “Caldeira das Sete Cidades”.

Upon arrival, you'll begin a hike through the entrancing landscape, an extremely beautiful mixture of lakes and lagoons. Be surprised by the changing landscapes of the volcanic island, which shifts from rocky outcrops to walks along a beautiful path that transforms into one teeming with green bushes and odorous flowers.

Upon reaching the viewpoint where you will find the magnificent Lagoa das Sete Cidades, you'll be able to marvel at the spectacle of São Miguel's natural beauty.

Day 3: Journey to Pico Island

This morning, our driver will transfer you to Ponte Delgarda Airport for your flight to Pico Island, home to the highest point of Portugal - Pico Mountain.

After a short ride from the airport courtesy of our private transfer, check-in at your cozy Pocinho Bay Guest House, located in the heart of the viticultural landscape of the island, a perfect place for relaxation with its elegant atmosphere.

Prepare yourself for the discovery of extremely rich gastronomy, with a wide variety of regional delicacies and flavors, in the coming days.

Day 4: Taste the Flavors of Pico's Vineyards

Your guide will pick you up this morning to experience Pico's sumptuous vineyards. Today's tour comprises of beautiful landscapes and different historic vineyards that produce some of the best wine in the region. 

Discover the secrets of Pico's wine cellars and enjoy wine tastings in privileged surroundings. You will be taken on a journey that inflames the senses and leaves you wanting to come back for more. Beyond the wine, you'll discover quaint towns in the area, stopping off at some of the unknown viewpoints, and areas are only known to locals.

Taste the best wines and finish with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant!

Day 5: Discover the Island of Faial

We hope after a comfortable night's sleep and delicious breakfast, you're ready for your next adventure in the Azores Islands.

Today we're headed towards the neighboring island of Faial. Discover the highlights and geological history of the island, visiting the beautiful marina and its one-of-a-kind beauty while being pleasantly surprised by piquant wafts of the hydrangeas that line the streets in abundance as you walk.

Beyond its history, the island's colorful maritime feel makes it one of the region's best whale and dolphin watching locations, optional tours that can be added to your trip.

Day 6: Bathe in the Thermal Waters of Sao Miguel

Today, we'll begin the journey back to São Miguel Island, where you'll be delighted at your accommodation for the remainder of the trip - the luxurious Furnas Boutique Hotel & Spa.

The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking beauty, where you can find the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe enticing you to indulge in their relaxing waters.

Beyond booking some time to bathe in the serenity of the hotel and its grounds, why not venture into town to visit Ponta Delgada’s Market, a vibrant place where you can find the main products that come from this land and its sea while soaking up the charm of the Azores.

Day 7: The Choice is Yours

What could be better than a day of relaxation; spending your day as your soul wishes!

Awaken this morning and enjoy the spa facilities on offer. Walk around the hotel to discover the secrets of its grounds or feel free to refresh by the pool.

In the evening head to Ponta Delgada for one last immersion in the multifaceted city where tradition lives hand-in-hand with the present and cosmopolitanism with wholesome tranquility of the Azorean life. 

Treat yourself to a dinner that blends the authenticity of the Azores kitchen with the flavors of your favorite local wine you only discovered days before.

Day 8: Say Farewell to the Azores

Unfortunately, the time has come to say goodbye to the Azores, as your private chauffeur will be waiting to pick you up from your hotel to drive you to the airport.

We hope that after seven nights in the archipelago, you are now richer in experiences and emotions that have made unforgettable memories for the rest of your life.
