I’d recommend visiting one of our fascinating local bazaars. A piece of advice for anyone who chooses to visit Uzbekistan: spend your time there wisely by bargaining with the local sellers. You may find traditional, hand-made treasures to take home with you at a great price!
Definitely don’t miss your chance to taste plov, our national dish that is made to be shared and bring people together. It’s made of rice and lamb, and is commonly enjoyed at weddings and other social events.
The best seasons for visiting Uzbekistan are spring and fall. During the former, the blooming landscapes are beautiful and the temperatures are agreeable, so you can enjoy city explorations as well as adventure and outdoor expeditions. Uzbekistan’s harvest season in the fall brings an abundance of natural riches and vibrant colors, which can be appreciated across cities and countryside valleys alike.
