Our trip to Iran was a revelation and we can't wait to return. Our itinerary was really well organised, our tour guide and driver were lovely, knowledgeable and very caring.
Very helpful, efficient and kept in touch throughout.
Hotels - I appreciate that this is difficult but we wouldn't recommend Hotel Avin in Isfahan. On the other hand, our hotel in Kashan was one of the best we've ever stayed in (and wins the prize for the best ever hotel breakfast). Need to note that there are lots of steep steps which might be tricky for some old people (but didn't deter my 81 year old mother). Ibis at the airport in Tehran was great too.
Samina and Mortezar - thank you so much - you completely made our holiday!
Go and stay in the Saraye Ameriha Boutique Hotel in Kashan Avoid the Avin in Isfahan (good location, but staff can be quite rude which is rare in Iran, beds are very hard and walls are paper thin so you can hear everything happening in the room next door). Go to Iran - there is so much to see, the people are so friendly and the food is delicious!
It was all memorable!
