Booked a trip to the Golden Triangle with my mum who is in her seventies and TravelLocal couldn't have been more helpful. So well organised and our guides were just the best people to advise and guide us around India. Our supplied driver was wonderful and was more than happy to stop whenever we wanted to take photos. Our first and second hotel were lovely; the third one (Re-Gen-Ta) was a lot to be desired and didn't like it at all there and didn't feel very safe. It was very dirty and the staff were not very nice, especially the manager. Thank you to all the team for sorting out our trip:)
Amazing locations and the guides were brilliant in looking after us. Our driver was a delight.
Please check out the hotels you book - I guess being Westerners we are used to a certain standard, but the last one wasn't very nice to stay in.
All three guides were lovely and so knowledgeable. They took very good care of us and made sure we weren't bothered too much by street sellers.
You have to accept that Indian culture is a lot different to what we are used to. There is a lot of poverty and organised crime there in the form of women beggers with children. We were advised not to give them money. One of our guides told us to only offer 70% of any asking price. The sellers will happily accept that and are used to bartering.
The Taj Mahal was stunning and with so much history.
