Day 1: You're in Vietnam!
Welcome to Hanoi! Land at Hanoi Airport, where a representative of our team will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day resting from you long flight or getting acquainted with the city on your own. If you need a direction to wander in, head to the Hanoi Old Quarter or the area's around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 2: Watch a Water Puppet Show in Hanoi
Spend your day exploring Vietnam's exciting capital! After breakfast, you will take a full-day tour around the city. Start with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before heading to the traditional stilt house and the One-Pillar Padoga. Continue with visits to some of the most beautiful buildings built to honor the spirit, the Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. End your morning with a visit to Vietnam's oldest university - the Temple of Literature, which is over one thousand years old. In the afternoon, head to the Museum of Ethnology, and learn about the diverse cultures that are at the heart of Vietnam. The highlight of your day has been saved for last! In the evening, sit back and watch a traditional water puppet show. Afterwards, head back to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Cruise Through Halong Bay
Wake up and enjoy a delightful breakfast. Then, you will transfer to Halong Bay, a stunning part of Vietnam's gorgeous natural wonders and one of the most visited places in the country. Halong Bay itself is an UNESCO World Heritage Site that is comprised of over 3000 islands in the Gulf of Tonkin. The scenery is more than impressive. It will leave you stunned! Visit the Bay in style - on your overnight cruise boat! Get on board in the early afternoon and enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood. Spend the rest of the day getting acquainted with the boat as you cruise through the bay. What about enjoying a refreshing cocktail as the sun goes down as you await your onboard dinner? End the day with a view of a million stars that hang over the peaceful waters of the bay.

Day 4: Go for a Swim in Halong
Make sure you set your alarm clock - the sunrise over the bay is spectacular! Watch the colors of the tranquil water change from purple to orange to pink as the sun makes its debut and you sip on a cup of warm tea. Continue your cruise through the bay, and get a good look at the stunning karst formations that decorate the bay. Stop for a mid-moring bath in the waters, and take a swim to cool off. Get back on board for another fabulous lunch. Then, disembark and head to Hanoi Airport for your afternoon flight to Denang. Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide who will take you to your hotel. Check in and relax. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 5: How About a BBQ on the Beach?
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will start your tour of Hoi An, an UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999. Stroll through the streets and alleyways as you admire the Chinese Houses and the Japanese Bridge, before continuing on to see the Chinese Temple and the Tan Ky trading house. Afterwards, head back to your hotel to rest your feet and refresh yourself. In the afternoon, hop into the Jeep that is waiting to take you on a tour of the Vietnamese countryside! Relax and enjoy the scenery, as you guide informs you about how the locals make their livings tending their farms. Stop at a water coconut palm plantation, and learn about the many indispensable uses for these incredible trees. End the day with a meal of BBQ seafood right on the beach as you sip on a fabulous glass of wine. After watching the sun set behind the mountains, return to your hotel for the night.

Day 6: Relax on Vietnam's Beautiful Beaches!
Today is all about relaxation! After breakfast, head to the beach and spend the day doing whatever you wish. What about relaxing on the soft white sand and read your favorite book? Or do you prefer to sunbathe as you sip on a cold one? Another option is a leisurely walk where you can feel the sand between your toes. When the day gets hot, wade into the tropical turquoise waters and go for a swim to cool you off. Whenever you get hungry, there are plenty of good places to grab a bite to eat. In the evening, return to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Experience Ho Chi Minh - on a Vespa!
Wake up and relax in your hotel in the morning until it is time to head to the airport. Catch your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the next destination of your journey through Vietnam. Upon arrival, drop your bags at your hotel and head out to explore the city! Visit the city's most iconic historic landmarks, including the Old Saigon Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Opera House before heading to the Reunification Palace. Your next stop is in the Chinese district of Cholon, before returning to your hotel for some down time in the afternoon. As the sun goes down, hop on the back of a vintage Vespa scooter. Head first to enjoy a complimentary cocktail and appetizer, and then to the hottest places to grab some of Vietnam's excellent street food. Cruise through popular areas, such as District 4 and Chinatown. End the evening in a Vietnamese-style coffee shop as you enjoy some live music.

Day 8: Discover Vietnamese History
Wake up to another excellent Vietnamese breakfast. Spend your day learning about Vietnam's incredible history. Head to the Mekong River and hop into your speedboat. As you glide along the river, take the opportunity to observe rural Vietnamese life along the riverbanks. Your English-speaking guide can answer any questions you may have. Then, arrive at your destination - the Cu Chi Tunnels, used by guerrilla fighters during the war as supply and communication routes, living quarters, and supplies storage. Your guide will lead you through the tunnels and introduce you to the fascinating story behind them. After you've explored, head to your inclusive lunch of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. In the afternoon, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9: Explore the Vietnamese Countryside
Wake up early for your day excursion outside the city. Spend the day exploring the tranquil Ben Tre province. Take a boat trip through the tropical scenery as you wind your way through the small canals and waterways. Your first stop of the day is at the residence of a local family that processes coconut products, before continuing on to learn about the traditional method of making bricks by hand. Get to know some of the locals and their traditional lifestyles. For lunch, enjoy a luxurious collection of local dishes surrounded by a lush garden. In the afternoon, continue your tour on a bicycle, and meet some more of the local villagers. In the evening, return to the city for your last night in Vietnam.
