Detailed Itinerary

Lahore
Day 1: Welcome to Lahore!
On arrival in Lahore, we'll meet you to transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or soaking up the local culture. In the late afternoon, we will get together as a group to visit the Shrine of famous saint Shah Hussain to experience ecstatic Sufi dance and music followed by dinner.

Lahore
Day 2: Immerse yourself in history and culture in Lahore's walled city
Our tour today begins with the 17th-century Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore’s historic walled city. We continue on to the Lahore Fort complex, which includes the 16th-century Fort, the 17th-century Badshahi Mosque and the 19th-century Tomb of Ranjit Singh the Sikh ruler of Punjab. At sunset, drown in national fervor at the Wagah Border for the flag lowering ceremony.

Lahore
Day 3: Discover the musical heart of Lahore's walled city
The next day return to the walled city to enjoy a walking street food tour to historic Havelis, a cultural museum, music schools and folk performances. End your evening with a live music or cultural performance.

Bahawalpur
Day 4: Wander around the Sufi shrines of Uch
Our first stop is Uch; founded by Alexander the Great, in 325 BCE as Alexandria on the Indus. Uch today is known for its Sufi Shrines from 12-15th centuries. Spend the day with the locals, listening to the stories and legends of these mystics. Later we will visit the Palace of the Nawab of Bahawalpur.

Derawar
Day 5: Take a camel safari in the Cholistan Desert
Venture on through the Cholistan Desert to Derawar. Here, enjoy a camel safari to the local villages and meet the local people. Spend the night in a tented desert camp and enjoy the evening with live folk music.

Multan
Day 6: Walk through the old streets of Multan
Travel to the vibrant town of Multan, dominated by Sufi Shrines and dominant Sufi culture. Walk through the streets to the old city fort. In the evening experience Sufi music at the shrine.

Lahore
Day 7: Take a deep dive back in time at the archaeological site of Harappa
We travel to the archeological site of Harappa containing the ruins of the second largest city of the Indus civilization from 25th century BC. Later continue to Lahore for our departure the following day.
