Day 1: Welcome To Amman!

Welcome to Amman! Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the airport and drive you north to Amman for your overnight stay.

If you arrive in the morning, we can arrange a city tour of the sites of Amman. Please let us know! 

Explore Pompeii Of The East

Jerash - Rasoun - Ajloun

Day 2: Explore Pompeii Of The East

Rise and shine! Today, the first stop of your tour will be Jerash, a Greco-Roman city, built over 2,000 years ago, known as the "Pompeii of the East". Explore the colonnaded street, amphitheater, and more! 

Next, drive through the beautiful Dibeen Forest, where you will stop in the small village of Rasoun to enjoy lunch with one of the local families.

Afterwards, you can walk along the path to the next village to visit some of the local co-operatives: the Biscuit House and the Soap House.

In the late afternoon, you will visit the Ajloun Castle with its fascinating labyrinth of towers, chambers, galleries, and staircases.

End the night at RSCN Ajloun Forest Cabins, to get some sleep for the exciting day ahead!

Day 3: Spectacular Views Over The Dead Sea

In the morning, you will drive south to Mt. Nebo to witness the spectacular enjoying great views over the Dead Sea!

Next, continue to Madaba, where you'll visit the mosaics and churches of the town.

After, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the best restaurants in Jordan, Haret Jdoudna, indulge in a variety of hot and cold mezze.

Later in the afternoon, you can go along the Kings Highway, an ancient trade route, and visit Karak Castle followed by a journey to Petra. Upon arrival in Petra, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner with a local family.

Day 4: Explore The Ancient City And Take A Cooking Class

The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures! It's admired for its refined culture, massive architecture, and ingenious complex of dams and water channels. In fact, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Today, choose between two ways to discover the site: by the traditional way through the Siq (Canyon) or the more adventurous tour through Petra’s Backdoor. 

In the evening, you will enjoy a cooking class to learn about some special dishes that you can make for your friends at home!

Day 5: Adventure & A Bedouin Dinner In The Desert

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will travel south to the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum. Enjoy a full day jeep tour to explore the area including the Nabatean inscriptions, rock formations, canyons, and large sand dunes! 

Afterwards, you will continue to your camp for an overnight stay. You will also enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner that is cooked in a drum under the sand.

Day 6: Into The Wilderness At Feynan Eco-Lodge

After breakfast, you will drive across the mountains to Feynan Eco-Lodge. This is one of the top 25 eco-lodges in the world, set in the wilderness of Wadi Araba and depends entirely on the sun for power and light.

After eating mezze for lunch, you can take part in one of the many exciting activities that the lodge offers. Learn how to bake Bedouin bread, make Arabic Coffee, or learn how to do some goat herding!

In the evening, a meal will be provided using local products and ingredients, followed by stargazing.

Day 7: Take A Dip In The Dead Sea & Beer Tasting

Today, you will drive north to take a dip at the lowest point on earth in the Dead Sea. Float in mineral-rich water, try some of the famous mud, or just relax and soak up the sunshine!

Afterward, you will head up to Amman to visit Carakale, Jordan’s first Microbrewery, where you'll get a tour of the beer making process and taste their products.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of Amman’s many fine restaurants.

Iraq Al Emir - Amman

Day 8: Cooking Class In Iraq al Emir And Wine Tasting In Amman

In the morning, you will travel to Iraq al Emir, where you can see the 3rd century Persian Palace.

Afterwards, you will visit the nearby women’s co-operative that employs women producing hand-made paper, hand-woven fabrics, ceramics, and food. You will then join a cooking class with some of the ladies and then enjoy your cooked meal for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will return back to Amman, where you'll visit a local wine-producer and taste some wine.

During the rest of the day, you will have time to do some souvenir shopping or just relax. Try one of the many restaurants Amman has to offer! Don't worry! We will give you a few tips and suggestions on the best places to go!
