Day 1: Welcome to Bali

Your private driver will pick you up at the airport of Denpasar and transfer you in about 1 hour to your accommodation in Mengwi.

Day 2: Enjoy a Free Day in Mengwi

Go for a walk in the surrounding rice fields, relax by the pool, or enjoy a moment of relaxation at the hotel spa.

Mengwi - Ubud

Day 3: Monkeys and Temples

From Mengwi your driver will take you towards Sidemen where you will visit the majestic Taman Ayun Temple. This temple was built in 1634 by the ruler of the Mengwi Kingdom.

Stroll around the temple complex and admire its traditional architecture, garden landscapes, and courtyards.

Next on your schedule is Ubud's famous Monkey Forest where you’ll meet the long-tail macaques. They live freely in their nature reserve and, more specifically, around the temple Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegai. Keep your belongings close, the monkeys can be very cheeky!

Day 4: Bali’s Amazing Temples

With your private driver, you’ll visit the temple of Goa Gajah, the "Cave of the Elephant". This religious sanctuary and UNESCO World Heritage Site reflects the perfect blend of Hindu and Buddhist culture. A character called "Bhoma" at the temple entrance is there to scare evil spirits away from the site.

Your day continues with a trip to the Gunung Kawi temple, famous for its ancient relics and located next to a small river and surrounded by rice fields.

The Hindu temple Tirta Empul, considered one of Bali's most sacred temples, is devoted to the gods Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, and Indra. The waters of the pools coming from the Pakerisan River have the reputation of being purifying and magical. A perfect opportunity to learn more about the Hindu religion and better understand the spiritual Balinese culture.

Day 5: Highlights of Ubud at Your Own Pace

Relax by the pool or in one of Ubud's famous spas. Enjoy massages and aromatherapy and take the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Ubud, visiting art galleries and museums, shop for local handicrafts, and delve into the atmosphere of one of the countless temples of this lovely and peaceful town.

Day 6: Bali’s Breathtaking Countryside

After breakfast, you’ll leave Ubud and head to Munduk. On your way, you can watch scenes of daily life in the villages as you cross the Balinese countryside.

Your driver will then take you to the village of Wongaya Gede where you visit the Batukaru Temple on Mount Batukaru. Batukaru literally translates to "coconut shell".

Marvel at the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that forms a natural amphitheater, and get an overview of the sophisticated Balinese Subak irrigation system.

Day 7: Canoe Trip to the Lake Temple

Today, early in the morning, you’ll set off to Lake Bratan for a canoe trip along the glistening lake. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the surrounding scenery.

Discover the famous Ulun Danu Beratan Temple which is located on the lake shores. The smooth reflective surface of the lake around the temple creates a unique floating impression, while the surrounding mountain range provides a scenic backdrop.

The water temple is dedicated to Dewi Batari Ulun Danu, goddess of lakes and rivers, and is a popular place for offering ceremonies.

Day 8: Waterfalls and Hot Springs

A car and a private driver will take you on a waterfall trek in the heart of the lush Balinese vegetation. On your way to these majestic waterfalls, you will cross rice fields and pass bright green landscapes as you experience scenes of traditional rural life.

Your first stop is at a crystal-clear lagoon where you can jump in and refresh yourself. Then the path continues to some more hidden waterfalls. If you are really brave, you can even jump from the waterfall‘s edge.

Enjoy a visit to the Banjar hot springs where you can relax in pools with around 32° C warm water.

Day 9: To the Diver’s Paradise

Your driver takes you from Munduk to Amed, on the east side of Bali. Transfer to Gitgit waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Bali.

On-route, make a stop in Sangsit to discover the various sculptures of the Beji Temple, dedicated to the goddess of the rice fields: Dewi Sri. Make a stop in Kubutambahan to observe the low reliefs of Meduwe Karang temple.

Day 10: Sun, Sand, and Sea

Make the most of this free day by the beach. Go snorkeling or diving, spend a few hours sunbathing by the pool, enjoy extended beach walks, discover the saltworks, or choose one of the optional activities that we offer.

Day 11: Beach Life

Indulge in another day of fun and relaxation on fabulous beaches. Several watersports activities are available to keep you busy. If you want to take it easy, take massages or other wellness treatments.

Day 12: Market Day in Sukawati

On the way from Amed to the Jimabran/Uluwatu area, you will visit the impressive Sukawati market. Whatever you can imagine, you will find it here: thousands of exotic fruits and vegetables, fragrant spices, and locally-made souvenirs and crafts of all kinds.

This market is well known among the locals. That’s why you will also find textiles, baskets, paints, and household articles at low prices, and in a friendly atmosphere.

Day 13: South Balinese Dream Beaches

Today, your driver will take you to discover the beautiful beaches of the Bukit Peninsula such as Padang Padang Beach, Thomas Beach, Green Bowl Beach, or Pandawa Beach.

After a day of fun and relaxation on fabulous beaches, visit the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple for a sunset celebration.

You can walk around the temple and enjoy the landscape and surrounding scenery. But keep in mind that the monkeys are masters of the place and hold on to your belongings.

At sunset, you can attend a Kecak show, pronounced "ketchak", a Balinese dance, accompanied by the famous song "chak-a-chak-a-chak". This traditional dance belongs to the most impressive Balinese dances.
