Detailed Itinerary

Cairo
Day 1: Welcome to Cairo
Upon arrival, your tour leader will be waiting to greet you at Cairo International Airport, ready to take you to your hotel. They’ll help you at check-in, then sit down with you to walk through your itinerary and agree pick-up times for each of your upcoming tours so everything runs smoothly from day one.
Tonight, settle in and get a good night’s rest. The wonders of Egypt are just around the corner.

Cairo
Day 2: Timless treasures at the Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel for a day among iconic wonders. Stand face-to-face with the Giza Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx, monuments that have watched over Egypt for millennia.
Then, pause for lunch at a local restaurant before stepping into the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), home to Tutankhamun’s dazzling treasures and collections you won’t find anywhere else. Take your time wandering, and don’t miss the on-site bazaars and gift shops where high-quality finds make for the perfect keepsake.

Cairo - Luxor
Day 3: Sail into ancient Thebes
In the morning, your guide will collect you from your Cairo hotel for the short transfer to the airport and your included flight to Luxor. Touch down in the heart of Ancient Egypt where you’re welcomed and whisked away to board your Nile River cruise. Welcome to your floating home for the days ahead!
Then it’s time to explore the East Bank, starting with the awe-inspiring temples of Karnak and Luxor. Wander between towering columns and colossal statues that have stood for thousands of years.
Back on board, settle in for dinner and your first magical night drifting along the legendary Nile.

West Bank
Day 4: Ancient wonders of the West Bank
Start your morning with breakfast on board as the Nile drifts by, then step back thousands of years on Luxor’s legendary West Bank. Wander the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs were laid to rest in tombs carved deep into the rock, still glowing with color.
Marvel at the dramatic terraces of Queen Hatshepsut’s temple, built for Egypt’s most powerful female ruler, and pause beneath the towering Colossi of Memnon standing guard over the plains.
It’s a day steeped in myth, majesty, and the stories of a civilization that still captivates the world.
Head back to the ship for dinner and your second night on board.

Edfu Temples & Kom Ombo
Day 5: Temple explorations in Edfu and Kom Ombo
Wake to the gentle sway of the Nile as you sail toward Edfu. Enjoy breakfast on board before stepping ashore to explore the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt, where towering walls and the falcon-headed god stand guard just as they have for millennia.
Back on the water, settle in for lunch as you cruise to Kom Ombo. Here, something rare awaits: a temple built for two. Dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the elder Horus, its mirror-image design is unlike anything else along the river.
As the sun sets, enjoy dinner on board and drift off to the rhythm of the Nile.

Temple Of Philae
Day 6: Aswan's wonders await
Drift into Aswan as breakfast is served on board. Step ashore to meet the Unfinished Obelisk, a sleeping giant still cradled in its granite quarry, hinting at the ambition of the ancient Egyptians.
Then, lose yourself at the Temple of Philae, its carved walls telling stories of Isis and devotion.
When the wonder settles, return to the comfort of your cruise where dinner and a peaceful night await.

Aswan - Cairo
Day 7: Return to Cairo
Savor one last breakfast aboard your cruise as the Nile drifts by, then it’s time to say goodbye to Aswan. A smooth transfer takes you to the airport for your included flight north to Cairo, trading timeless river views for the buzz of Egypt’s legendary capital.
Touch down and you’ll be greeted at Cairo International Airport, then whisked off to your hotel. The pyramids, the markets, the ancient wonders are all waiting just outside your door.

Break for lunch at a local restaurant, before wandering into Coptic Cairo, one of the city’s most soulful quarters, to discover the famous Hanging Church and the ancient Ben Ezra Synagogue.
As the day winds down, you’ll return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
