Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam!
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you'll be transferred to your hotel. You have the entire day at your disposal - Why don't you go out and gather first impressions of Vietnam. While strolling around the streets of Hanoi, don't forget to grab a bite to eat in one of the numerous local restaurants! You won't regret it!

Day 2: Get to know Hanoi!
In the morning you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the great President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace. You will also see the traditional stilt houses and the iconic One-Pillar Pagoda, a special pagoda with a unique structure.
Next on schedule for today is a visit of the thousand-year old Temple of Literature, the first and most famous university in Vietnam. You will understand why it is a popular place for Vietnamese students to take commemorative photographs when graduating.
In the afternoon you will learn a lot about the Vietnamese history by visiting either the Women Museum or Hoa Lo Museum. The choice is based on your preferences since the two museums present distinct stories. The Women Museum is dedicated to Vietnamese women and show their role in the society. Hoa Lo was once a French colonial jail for political prisoners.
In the evening you will take the night train to Lao Cai.

Day 3: Meet the local people!
You will arrive at Lao Cai at around 5.00 am. A driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Afterwards, take a walk from Sapa in the direction of Cat Cat Village. You will stop by a little waterfall before continuing through terraced rice fields. You will also enjoy the view of a spectacular scenery while walking alongside a narrow river.
Time to meet the locals! You will visit Y Linh Ho Village, home of the Black H'mong people. After lunch, keep walking to the Muong Hoa Valley and you will pass through Lao Chai Village and then Ta Van Village, home of the Giay people. After finishing the village visits, you will be directly transferred back to your hotel. There are plenty of good restaurants around the hotel, so go out and enjoy the authentic Vietnamese cuisine!

Day 4: Get a glimpse of the highest peak in Indochina!
Rise and shine! After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel you will make your way to Xin Chai village- home to Black H’mong hill tribe. From the village, head up the mountain of Hoang Lien. Once getting on the top, set off your trek on a small trail offering wonderful views. Don't forget to bring your camera with you! Then go through TramTon Pass and head to Heaven’s Gate, from where you can see Fansipan Mountain – the highest peak in Indochina. It is a breathtaking view! Afterwards, return to Lao Cai station from where you will get on the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay!
You will arrive in Hanoi in the early morning and will be transferred by shuttle bus to Halong Bay, a picturesque bay which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 3000 islands located in a background of limestone in the Gulf of Tonkin, Halong Bay is one of the most amazing places in the world. You will be impressed by the breathtaking scenery that will open up in front of your eyes!
In the afternoon you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Cruising on Halong Bay is certainly a spectacular experience that will simply mesmerize you! Just imagine Halong Bay's spectacular scatter of islands floating in the emerald waters!

Day 6: Admire the sunrise over Halong Bay!
Don't forget to set your alarm clock for early in the morning the previous day. Otherwise you will miss a spectacular view - the sunrise over Halong Bay! Enjoy the fresh air from the sea and immerse yourself in the peaceful morning while admiring the magical view!
After a morning bath enjoy breakfast on board and continue your cruise to explore the rest of the bay. After lunch on board you will sail back to the pier to return to Hanoi.

Day 7: Goodbye, Vietnam!
Today is a free day at leisure in Hanoi. Maybe you missed a place you wanted to see or just want to feel the spirit of Hanoi's streets once more? There is plenty of time for you to enjoy the day in Hanoi. You will be collected 3 hours prior to your flight and taken to the Noi Bai airport in time to catch your flight back home!
Although your amazing trip has come to an end, you will certainly leave Vietnam full of happy memories. Don't forget that Vietnam is always ready to welcome you back. See you soon!
