Delhi
Day 1: Welcome to Delhi!
Feel welcomed as you are greeted at the airport and transported to your hotel for your first overnight stay in Delhi. Have the rest of the day to yourself as you unpack, rest, and prepare for the trip ahead in your lovely hotel.

Delhi
Day 2: Explore Delhi, the capital of India
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Delhi. The day ahead is filled with cultural heritage! First, visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Stare in awe at the masterful craftsmanship as you explore this mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the mid-17th century. Following this visit, experience an even older structure as you arrive at Humayun’s Tomb, the tomb of Emperor Humayun. Tour its surrounding gardens and exquisite architecture before moving on to the beautiful black marble Raj Ghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
After paying your respects, finish off your tour of India’s capital at the India Gate and Parliament Building. Spend some time snapping shots of your favourite views before heading back to your hotel for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for the next day’s trip to Ahmedabad!

Delhi - Ahmedabad
Day 3: Temples, history & culture in Ahmedabad
After breakfast at your hotel, hop on your flight to Ahmedabad and view the beautiful Indian landscape from above. After transferring to your hotel in Ahmedabad, embark on a tour of the suburban Gandhi Sabarmati Ashram, a residence of Mahatma Gandhi and the base location of his Dani march in 1930.
Cross the Sabarmati River toward the Sarkhej-Hathee Singh Jain Temple, an enormous Jain temple erected to provide employment to the people in a time of great famine. End your tour at the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, one of the most famous in Ahmedabad, and the Swaminarayan temple, a Hindu temple and representation of British and Indian relations. Both structures display exquisite marble screens and beautiful colours. End the day at your hotel in Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad - Palitana
Day 4: The walled city of Sihor
Visit the ancient structures of Bhadra Fort, Tween Darwaga, and Bhadrakali Temple before enjoying a well-deserved breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards, go on a heritage walk to visit the various mosques and temples of Ahmedabad before returning to your hotel to pack up and journey on to your next destination, Palitana.
En route, stop at Sihor, a walled city and fort among rolling green and rock hills. Soak up views of the old wooden houses on the banks of the river Gautami before continuing to Palitana, where you will check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Palitana - Junagadh
Day 5: Visit the shrine of Shiva
Leave in the early morning for Shatrunjaya Hill. Here, at the so-called 'city of temples', you will stand amongst the holy white-marbled Jain temples, where the divine supposedly reside.
After exploring, return to your hotel for breakfast and leave for the city of Junagadh. En route, make a stop at Somnath to visit its famous temple, one of the 12 shrines of Shiva. Later on you'll arrive at Junagadh, and spend the evening relaxing in your hotel.

Day 6: Take a walking tour of Junagadh
After a hearty breakfast, take a tour of the magnificent city of Junagadh, located at the foot of the rocky, green Girnar Hill. Take in the natural and man-made sights as you embark on a walking tour to visit Diwan Chowk, the Mahabat Maqbara mausoleum, mosques and temples, Uparkot Fort, and Ashoka’s Rock Edicts. The latter are part of a collection of 33 inscriptions from caves, pillars, and boulders that are scattered throughout India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Experience the history of Buddhism, as these pillars represent some of the first examples of the religion. Return to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Junagadh - Dwarka
Day 7: Visit the birthplace of Gandhi
After a rewarding breakfast, leave for Dwarka on the banks of northwestern India. On your way, visit the Kirti Temple, where you can see the great tower adorned with a bronze sun, moon, and earth. You'll also have the opportunity to visit Gandhi's birthplace and his family's ancestral home in Porbandar.
Upon arrival in Dwarka, check into your hotel and relax before an evening tour of the ghats, riverside stairways, and temples scattered throughout the city. Stroll along the northwestern shore of India and watch the sunset. After an exciting day of touring, relax and unwind back in your hotel.

Day 8: The ancient temples of Dwarka
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and prepare to visit the temples of Dwarka. First up, discover the Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir. Built in honour of the Hindu god Krishna, this temple’s main shrine is five stories tall and around 2,000 years old. Next you'll visit the Rukshmani Temple, an ancient Hindu masterpiece near the Gomti River.
In the afternoon, explore the ghats as well as river and seaside stairways along the Arabian Sea and Gomti River. Take a stroll through the bazaar, where you can shop for local and authentic goods. Watch the sunset on the coast and relax in the evening before returning to your hotel.

Dwarka - Jamnagar
Day 9: The old city of Jamnagar
Say goodbye to Dwarka after a filling breakfast at your hotel, and leave for Jamnagar, located close to the Gulf of Kutch in northern India. Here, spend the afternoon exploring the old city, where you can admire pastel-coloured wooden and stone buildings. Visit the fort on the shore of Lakhota Lake, followed by Lakhota Palace and Museum in the centre of the lake itself, to marvel at its collection of sculptures and pottery from the surrounding region. Nearby you'll also find Ranmal Lake and the Bala Hanuman temple, which you can explore at leisure before enjoying your evening in Jamnagar.

Jamnagar - Bhuj
Day 10: Explore the colourful bazaar in Bhuj
After breakfast in Jamnagar, leave for the bustling city of Bhuj and check into your hotel. Take a break from ancient temples and visit the Prag Mahal, an Italian-Gothic 19th-century palace. Afterwards, head to the 18th-century Aina Mahal palace, to observe the marble decorated with gold lace and coloured glass.
Venture south along Harmirsar Lake and Chhatardi Talav to the beautiful Swaminarayan Temple, which features white towers adorned with gold spires. Experience local cuisine and browse colourful goods at the Saraaf Bazar, all before watching the sun set over the Chattris ruins. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Bhuj - Dasada
Day 11: Jeep safari adventure
Enjoy breakfast in Bhuj before heading to Dasada and checking into your new hotel, where you can spend the rest of the morning at your leisure.
In the afternoon, visit the Anjar produce market to sample regional fruits, before continuing on to the historical village of Dhrangadhra. In the late afternoon, embark on a jeep safari in the Little Rann of Kutch, where you can spot the last of the Indian wild ass; a mix between a donkey and a horse, these adorable animals are extremely fast. You may also see other wildlife, such as wolves and desert foxes. Head back to your hotel afterwards for a well-earned night of rest.

Day 12: Deep-dive into the Little Rann of Kutch
Head back to the Little Rann of Kutch for an early-morning jeep safari, and view wildlife as they come out to greet the day. Head back to your hotel for breakfast, before setting out to explore Kharapat Rabari, a tribal village in Little Rann of Kutch. Here, get to know the culture and handicrafts of the locals, including their embroidery and beadwork. Return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day in Dasada.

Dasada - Udaipur
Day 13: Enjoy stunning Hindu temples
After a delicious breakfast, make your way back to inland India, as you head toward the stunning metropolis of Udaipur.
On the way, visit two enchanting landmarks - Hijras’ Temple in Becharaji and the Sun Temple in Modhera, both of Hindu worship. Arrive in Udaipur and check into your hotel, before spending the evening at your leisure.

Day 14: Experience sparkling Udaipur by boat
As you wind down towards the end of your trip, enjoy breakfast in your hotel. Visit Udaipur's City Palace, which required nearly 400 years of construction and is the largest of its type in the region. Afterwards, explore the magnificent Saheliyon Ki Bari and Jagdish Temples before embarking on an evening boat ride on the serene Lake Pichola: view the palace and cityscape from afar as you relax and drift on the breath-taking waters. Take some time to explore the city by night, and return to your hotel to enjoy a well-earned rest.

Day 15: Farewell, India!
Your journey has sadly come to an end. After today's breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
