Detailed Itinerary

Punta Arenas
Day 1: Start Your Adventures in Chile
Welcome to the wild and wonderful Patagonia!
When you step off the plane in the Southern city of Punta Arenas, you will be greeted by one of our guides and take a personal transfer to your hotel.
You can enjoy this beautiful city on the edge of the Magallanes Strait for the rest of the afternoon. The city has a wide range of beautiful attractions like their Main Square with a Monument to the native people of the area. They say that if you touch the foot of the statue, you’ll have good luck! After, you could enjoy their museum to learn about the geography of the area and the many journeys that Charles Darwin took to this remote area.
Finish off your day on the coastal boardwalk. As you’re pushed along by the forceful winds, you can appreciate the seemingly endless sunset of the South. Return to your hotel for a good night's rest.

Punta Arenas - Agua Fresca
Day 2: Enjoy Aguas Fresca Bay
Wake up to your first morning in beautiful Patagonia and enjoy a delicious hotel breakfast before you begin your adventure for the day.
The day starts from Punta Arenas, where a transfer will meet you and take you to Agua Fresca Bay, about 27 km south. Here, you’ll be surrounded by beaches, forests, and marine wildlife. You’ll navigate in kayaks while accompanied by an expert guide for about 2 hours as you enjoy the natural scenery and spot unique flora and fauna.
After, you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade lunch filled with regional flavors and southern hospitality. Then, you’ll start our horseback ride which will last from 1.5 to 2 hours. You’ll gallop across the countryside, forests and low laying parries until we reach the shores of the Magallanes Strait. There, you’ll get a beautiful panoramic view of the Island of Tierra del Fuego.
In the evening you’ll return to Punta Arenas.

Punta Arenas - Magdalena Island - Puerto Natales
Day 3: Boat Ride in Magallanes Strait
After an early rise, you’ll meet some new feathered friends as we travel to the Island of Magdalena.
After a transfer to the office, you’ll embark on a boat ride through the Magallanes Strait. As you bob along on the waves, you’ll keep your eyes peeled for sea lions and other maritime birds. Once you reach the Santa Marta and Magdalena Island, you’ll rejoice at the magnificent colony of Magallanes Penguins. This important colony consists of more than 120,000 penguins! After your boat excursion, you’ll be transferred to the bus terminal to take a bus to Puerto Natales, the starting point of so many adventures. This southern town has a warm charm that will invite you to explore its shops and bakeries. Make sure to see its monuments to the wind and stroll along its lakefront to get a sneak peek of Torres del Paine National Park, tomorrow’s adventure.

Puerto Natales - Torres Del Paine
Day 4: Expedition of Torres del Paine National Park
Today, you’ll begin a self-guided expedition through Torres del Paine National Park. From your hotel, a transfer will meet you and take you to the bus station. You’ll take a bus for around 2 hours before you arrive at the entrance to the iconic and stunning Torres del Paine National Park.
You will enter the park and walk for about 1 km towards your camp or refuge where you’ll have the option of staying in a bed made just for you, 1 to 3-person tent that is fully equipped, or a night’s stay at the 5-star Hotel Las Torres. We recommend going on the incredible hike to the Base of las Torres. As you round the final bend of the hike, you’ll be joyfully rewarded with a stunning view of the three towers (Central, Monzino, and Dagostini) and their reflection in the glacier-fed lake.
You’ll begin your return along the same path. A hot dinner will be waiting for you after this amazing day in dreamy Patagonia.

Torres Del Paine - Puerto Natales
Day 5: Exploring Patagonian Wonderland
Wake up in the midst of a Patagonian wonderland and enjoy a delicious breakfast and grab your boxed lunch at your lodge before you start your adventure.
There are several day hikes that are accessible to you for today. One option is to take the ferry ride across Pehoe Lake to land in Paine Grande. This half-hour boat ride will give you a panoramic view of the famous W-Trekking route and a great view of the twisting “Cuernos”, or horns, of the mountains. Once you arrive in Paine Grande, you can continue an up and back hike to get to Glacier Grey Lookout. The first lookout point is a 6-hour round trip hike where you can gain an incredible view of the magnitude of the Glacier Grey.
When you return to Paine Grande, you’ll take the ferry back across Pehoe Lake and connect with your bus that will take you to Puerto Natales to rest for the night.

Puerto Natales - El Chalten
Day 6: Journey to El Calafate
You will say goodbye to the incredible Chilean Patagonia to explore the wild Argentinian side.
Your expedition across the Andes will start with a transfer from your hotel to the bus terminal in Puerto Natales. There, you’ll connect to a bus that will take you directly to El Calafate, about a 5-hour ride.
Be sure to keep an eye out for guanacos and liebres, typical fauna of the area. Once you make it to the quaint town of El Calafate, a transfer will take you directly to ground zero of adventures to Fitz Roy Mountain: Chalten. Tucked away in a mountainous cove, you’ll find your cozy hotel for the night.

There, you’ll have a brief stop to marvel at the hanging glacier. You’ll continue at a gentle climb until we reach the steep slope to get to Laguna de los Tres. It is well worth the effort as you glimpse the breathtaking view when we see the top of Mt Fitz Roy and the surrounding spikes jetting upwards from the surrounding mountains.
After this incredible hike of around 12 km, you’ll camp inside the national park in the rustic Poincenot Camping.

Mont Fitz Roy - El Chalten

If you’re lucky, you’ll see icebergs that broke off of Torre Glacier and are floating along. Along the way, you’ll also visit D’Agostini Campground, where many famous rock climbers have spent a night or two! After lunch at the lagoon, you will head back towards Chaltén, along the Fitz Roy river valley, and crossing over a couple of old moraines.

Once you arrive in El Calafate and drop your things off in your hotel. You’ll have a half-day excursion to the Glaciers National Park. This is widely known as the gateway to the glacier world. You’ll soon find our why – the massive glacier stands like a wall, separating the lake from the ice. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the 3 km of walking trails. After, you’ll get up close to the glacier by boat. You’ll be able to see the details of the ice cracking and the power of nature in front of your eyes.
After the tour, you’ll return to your hotel in El Calafate.

El Calafate - Ushuaia

Start with a sunset hike to Esmeralda Lagoon. The lagoon is at the foot of the Ojo de Albino glacier, between the mountains Bonete and Cordón Toribio. The emerald green waters blend with the copper red peat bogs. During the return walk, you will continue exploring the forest crossed by rivers and streams, before enjoying a picturesque dinner: snacks, and lentil stew with a nice Patagonian red wine in a charming cabin overlooking the Tierra Mayor valley. Little did they know that these flames came from the people surviving and thriving in this extreme climate. You will get to discover the true nature of the secrets within the Tierra del Fuego National Park. With our specialized guides, you’ll get to know in detail this recovered paradise, where the mountains are accessible from the water, and the fresh streams of rivers and lakes mix with the sea. On this tour, you get to walk through the forest, and canoe down rivers, and across lagoons to get into the famous Lapataia Bay.
