Day 1: Malé International Airport - Haa Dhaalu Atoll

Welcome to the Maldives: Meet & Greet by our representatives at Male International Airport
Excursion: Maruhabaa! Welcome to your island getaway of stunning white-sand beaches, crystal-clear blue seas, and an amazing underwater world. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representatives at the arrival hall who will assist you with the transfer arrangements to your hotel/resort/island. If you require any further assistance we provide 24hrs customer service during your stay. A duty mobile number of our airport representatives will be provided. In case you miss our representatives at the arrivals hall, we have dedicated assistance kiosks at counters 34 & 35.

Shared Excursion: After your journey out to the Maldives and a good night’s sleep, start your day relaxed with morning yoga. Each session has a duration of 45 minutes (introduction – breathing practice – warmup standing and seating sequence – meditation). It is designed for everyone who wishes to escape the daily routine, stress, and worries of modern-day life. Available every morning from 0815 hrs on a complimentary basis.

Excursion: There are many excursion options and diving activities available at Barefoot Eco hotel, for you to experience while you’re relaxing and enjoying your holiday. Dolphin Watching, Turtle Monitoring, Manta-Ray Monitoring & Romantic Sunset Cruise to name a few. Feel free to inquire from the hotel front desk for any clarification or to arrange your preferred experience.

Day 3: Haa Dhaalu Atoll

Pamper yourself at the Barefoot Spa
Excursion: Pamper yourself at the Spa where treatments are combined with a spiritual and meditative experience to achieve total wellbeing of body and mind. Antique furniture and décor, candlelight, oriental music and exotic aromas are part of the unique experience. There are a wide range of Ayurvedic, Classic massages, traditional Maldivian massages and beauty treatments available at extra cost, starting from USD 40.00 per person.


Marine Biology Presentation
Shared Excursion: Every Monday & Thursday the hotel's in-house Marine biologists conduct presentations about marine life, covering topics from turtles, to sharks, rays, dolphins, fish families, coral reefs, and plastic pollution. Moreover, Blue Planet documentaries and diving videos are played every day after dinner time.

Excursion: You are welcome to join the complimentary morning yoga or why not try a private Sunrise yoga session at the jetty with the yoga master, tailor-made according to your yogi level. Available for an extra cost and do not forget to book in advance.


Guided snorkelling excursion with marine biologist
Shared Excursion: This guided snorkeling excursion is available every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday in the afternoon. An in-house marine biologist will escort you to the house reef by dhoni (traditional boat). It allows you to see mantas, dolphins, turtles, corals, and multitudes of fishes in several reefs within the atoll. Duration is approximately 45 minutes. Fins and masks are mandatory. You may use your own gear or can rent from the diving center for an extra cost.


Enjoy the Floating Bar
Excursion: In the evening we invite you to visit the Floating Bar located in the hotel lagoon. It offers a variety of cocktails, beers, and wine. Daily speedboat transfers available from the hotel 1800 hrs onwards. Front desk will assist with arranging the same and further information.

Excursion: While you’re enjoying other hotel facilities you are also entitled to free Kayak rental once during the stay. So do not miss the chance to explore the crystal clear lagoon and marine life around the island.

Shared Excursion: Experience traditional Maldivian cooking shows run by local women. They'll make traditional snacks and you will get a chance to take pictures and taste the food as well. Available every Wednesday & Sunday at the Juice Bar from 1900 hrs.

Day 6: Haa Dhaalu Atoll

Excursion: No activities scheduled for this morning, you are free to decide whether to enjoy one of the many excursions & diving activities available at the hotel, or simply to relax.


Explore Hanimadhoo by bike
Excursion: Explore Hanimadhoo island and discover its beauty, culture and community this afternoon. Bicycles will be available free of charge and you are welcome to explore independently. Alternatively, a Guided Bike Tour is available for an extra cost, covering history, religion, culture, and the Maldivian way of life. See the school, mosques, harbour, and local shops. Finally, end the tour at a family home where you can stay for some traditional savoury and sweet snacks as well as a Maldivian tea with time to have a look inside the house or just chat with your hosts about island life. Duration: Approx. 02 hours

Excursion: Since it’s the last day at Hanimadhoo Island, we suggest that you relax by the beach or pool and enjoy the last bit of scenic view and fresh air. Soft drinks, fresh juices, and non-alcoholic drinks available at the panoramic “Juice Bar'' next to the main restaurant.

Day 9: North Male Atoll

Male City Tour
Excursion: Our guided Male City Tour covers tourist attractions including the well-known Hukuru Miskiiy which is regarded as the oldest mosque on the Island. A place of worship established in 1656, it boasts intricate wood carvings and solid coral structures which will leave visitors awe-struck. Dominating the skyline of the city is the Grand Friday Mosque and Islamic Centre, the largest mosque located in the city and attended by many locals daily, a must visit. After exploring the majestic places of worship, head to the National Museum and the National Art Gallery which showcase artefacts and paintings one must see if interested in understanding the roots of the Maldivian local culture. After covering main sightseeing in Male City, next will be the local Fish Market and the Vegetable Market as well as the souvenir shops to take back home some mementos. And if you need a quick refreshing drink or a bite to eat, head to one of the cafes in the nearby streets. Travelers need not worry about carrying local currency as most vendors accept US Dollars and Euros. Estimate time duration: 3-4 Hours
