Bucaramanga - Barichara
Day 1: Welcome To Bucaramanga !
Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to pick you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Bucaramanga
There are no activities planned for this day, so just relax! If you arrive early, we may be able to organize an additional tour for you.
Perhaps you’d enjoy a cable car ride to the Santisimo Ecoparque? Here you can enjoy some spectacular views, including that from a viewing platform above a 121-foot giant statue of Christ.
Along with this, you can also enjoy the beautiful water and light show and simply sensational sunset.

Barichara - Guane
Day 2: The Charming Towns of Giron & Barichara
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you’ll embark on a brief tour of Giron; one of 17 beautiful heritage towns of Colombia!
You'll also stop in another charming town of Colombia named Barichara. You’ll pass the Chicamocha Canyon which will offer you some spectacular views along the way!
As well as this you’ll also get to checkout San Gil, the adventure capital of the world. With an option to stop here and enjoy some bungy jumping, rafting, caving, or more. (An extra day can easily be arranged to partake in more of these extreme sports.)
Once you’ve arrived in Barichara, you’ll be taken directly to your hotel to check-in and relax before taking a tour of this simply beautiful location. You’ll then have the remainder of the afternoon free to wander and soak-up this amazing setting.

Barichara - Santa Marta
Day 3: A Visit To Juan Curi Falls
Today, you'll start your morning exploring this town and the surrounding area, as well as a wonderful lunch in the plaza.
Barichara is renowned for its colonial architecture, peaceful cobbled roads, artisan workshops, adobe houses and the craft shops within. You’ll visit remarkable chapels, churches, graveyards, parks, sculptures, and more! Don't miss a visit to Juan Curí Falls, with its spectacular rainforest. You’ll have the opportunity to climb or hike to the very top!
Following lunch, you’ll enjoy a trip to take amazing photos and the possibility to repel down a section of the waterfall, or simply relax in the natural swimming pool.
After this beautiful experience surrounded by nature, you’ll travel back to Barichara for another wonderful night in this beautiful town!

Minca
Day 4: Welcome To Santa Marta!
You’ll have an early start today and travel back to Bucaramanga for an early afternoon flight to Santa Marta.
Upon arrival, you'll be taken directly to your hotel in either Santa Marta or next to Tayrona Park to check-in.
You’ll then have the rest of the afternoon free to relax and some “me time”.

Tayrona Park
Day 5: Explore The Exotic Tayrona National Park
Today, you’ll be taken into Tayrona National Park to enjoy a 2-hour ecological walk through the jungle, visiting 4 beaches including Arenillas, La Piscina, Los Arrecifes, and Cabo San Juan!
You’ll learn about the local environment and the local indigenous; about the native animals that can be seen and or heard; where Caimen (similar to an alligator) are likely to be hiding if they are around; which beaches are safe to swim in; which indigenous are from this area and what do they do while Tayrona Park is closed for a month every year.
Once you’ve arrived in Cabo San Juan you’ll enjoy some fantastic beach time (approx. 3 hours), along with time to explore the area or partake in watersports, such as snorkeling.
After your beach day is complete, you’ll enjoy a 1.3-hour walk through the jungle before heading back to your hotel.

Palomino
Day 6: A Breath of Fresh Mountain Air
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel to the small town of Minca. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy this wonderful little mountain pueblo (town) full of artisan shops.
Today, you'll enjoy a tour of a Cocoa Plantation, hidden Waterfalls (take a refreshing swim), a bamboo house, and some exotic bird watching.

Cartagena
Day 7: Day & Night Tour Of Cartagena
Start the morning with a delicious breakfast before driving along the coast and through the mountains to the awaiting walled city of Cartagena.
Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy some free time before embarking on a city tour that will start around 4:30 pm.
On this wonderful tour, you will not only get to see the most important sites and this beautiful city during the day but the spectacular sight of this ancient city at night!

Rosario Islands
Day 8: Relax On The Rosario Islands
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel before you take a breathtaking ocean cruise touring the Rosario Islands to arrive at a beautiful picturesque beach.
Upon arrival, you'll also be assigned your personal beach space, which will be exclusive for yourself and the members of your group.
You'll receive full beach service, a fantastic typical lunch; use of deckchairs and umbrellas; a cocktail on arrival and English-speaking hosts.
You will have the full day to relax and enjoy your space, as well, the opportunity to snorkel, paddleboard, or kayaking.

Cartagena
Day 9: Mud Volcano, Mangroves, & Colombian Food
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before partaking in a mud bath in the mineral-rich, world-famous El Volcán de Lodo El Totumo (The mud volcano of Totumo).
The locals will help you massage the mud onto your body! After your relaxing mud bath, a group of local women will clean your whole body. At the end of this process, you’ll head to the beautiful beaches of Manzanillo del Mar where you’ll enjoy a swim in the tropical waters!
Next, you'll enjoy a fabulous typical Caribbean lunch including coconut rice, fried fish, green salad and patacones (think of them as banana fritters).
Afterward, you’ll explore the Cartagena Mangroves in a canoe skippered by an expert local fisherman.
Finally, enjoy a walk through their community to see how the locals truly live.

Cartagena
Day 10: Goodbye, Cartagena!
Today is the final day of the tour, however, please let us know if you’d like to extend your stay in this beautiful region?
Perhaps you’d like to add a tour to San Basilio de Palenque, the first slave-free African settlement in the Americas? Where you can try traditional African food and listen to a unique African dialect that is still spoken today. Or perhaps, you’d enjoy a trip to some fruit markets and a cooking class?
At the appropriate time, you'll be picked up and taken to the airport to catch your flight home or to continue your travels. Farewell!
