Entebbe - Kibale Forest
Day 1: A swamp walk in Kibale Forest
Arrive into Entebbe International Airport [EBB] where you'll be collected and transferred to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey to Kibale takes approx. 4 hours so look out the window and enjoy the incredible scenery!
Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on the Bigodi Swamp Walk. During this scenic adventure, you'll encounter a diverse array of bird species and several playful monkeys, making for an unforgettable experience.
Your accommodation for the next two nights is a beautiful lodge overlooking the Kibale Forest.

Kibale Forest
Day 2: Searching for chimpanzees
It's time to search for chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park! Begin your adventure with a briefing at the Rangers' post before setting off on a trek through the lush rainforest. The walk can be challenging, so wear sturdy shoes and bring a poncho. Stay quiet for a better chance of spotting the chimps. With the Rangers' expertise in tracking, your chances of encountering these incredible primates are very high.

Day 3: Journey to Bwindi
Start the day early to make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you'll check into your new accommodation.
In the afternoon, venture out with a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide, who will lead you along the trails to immerse yourself in the forest's flora, fauna, and wildlife, including monkeys up close.

Day 4: Searching for mountain gorillas
Today is dedicated to an exhilarating Gorilla trekking adventure. After breakfast, attend a briefing at the Rangers' post before beginning your search for the mountain gorillas. Depending on the location of the gorilla family, the trek can take several hours.
The terrain is mountainous, so be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes. Despite the challenging hike, the journey is breathtakingly beautiful. After this unforgettable experience, you'll have time to relax at the lodge, explore the camp, and capture photos of your incredible day.

Day 5: Lunch at the equator & goodbye
It's time to say goodbye to Uganda, but before you're dropped off at Entebbe International Airport [EBB], you'll stop at the equator line for lunch!
After lunch, you'll be taken to the airport with plenty of time for your safe journey home.
