Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok
Welcome to Bangkok, the enticing capital of Thailand.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your local guide for your hotel transfer. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and recover from your journey.

Day 2: Bangkok City Tour
Today you'll be exploring Bangkok via the city's varied public transportation system. You'll set out from your hotel on foot with a local guide and head to the nearest station. From there you'll ride to the Chao Phraya River and hop on a passenger ferry along this busy waterway. Going ashore at Tha Chang pier you'll visit the glittering Grand Palace and the revered Wat Phra Kaew - the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Nearby you can admire the massive reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Afterwards, take a tuk-tuk ride to a flower market for a glimpse of local life before catching the Skytrain back to your hotel.

Day 3: Floating Market Tour
Prepare for an early start to explore the vibrant markets outside of Bangkok. The first stop will be at the Maeklong Railway Market famed for its location right on top of a railway line where trains running through the market a few times a day. Next, ride a wooden boat through the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, a great place to learn about the locals' way of life. Lunch will be at a local restaurant and the afternoon can be spent browsing the market before returning to your hotel in Bangkok.

Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Day 4: Chiang Mai & Hill Tribe Visit
Today you'll leave the bustling metropolis of Bangkok behind and fly to the Northern city of Chiang Mai. On arrival, you'll meet your local guide and together visit a Meo hill-tribe village, meeting the villagers in their traditional dress and finding out about their way of life. Later, you'll climb up to the mountaintop temple Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for panoramic views of Chiang Mai.

Day 5: City Tour & Cooking Class
Start your Chiang Mai city discovery tour at the bustling riverfront Worarot Market. This colourful scene is great for getting a taste of the local culture and products and for enjoying some tasty street food. Later, hop on a traditional Samlor – a three-wheeled bike - and travel through the walled city of old Chiang Mai to visit Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh temples. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your hotel for a rest. In the late afternoon, you'll head to the city outskirts to visit a Lanna family and enjoy an authentic Thai cooking class. You'll share dinner with your hosts before returning to the hotel.

Day 6: Tuk Tuk Adventure, Rafting & Elephants
Private transfer to the verdant Mae Wang valley for a day immersed in nature. You'll start with a tuk-tuk driving training session and then head off through peaceful farmland dotted with villages and rural temples. Those that prefer not to drive can take a back seat and enjoy the ride instead. Your destination is the Chiang Mai Elephant Home, part of a sustainable eco-tourism project, where you'll be able to interact with elephants in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy bamboo rafting along a scenic river.
