On this 9-day trip, you will experience Namibia from both the sky and on land. We will show you our beautiful Southern Landscapes consisting of Savannah, Canyons, and Deserts!
Arriving in Windhoek you will start your trip with your private pilot taking you through the country. From the city, we will take you to the first stop. exploring the Fish River Canyon with its interesting formations and wildlife.
Then, you will fly onwards to a destination in the middle of the Namib desert, where iconic red sand dunes, salt flats and canyons await you. After a scenic flight leaving the desert and flying over the coast you will reach the lovely small town Swakopmund. This seaside resort is marked by its colonial past, you will learn a lot about Namibian history, see the classical architecture of colonial times and taste the cuisine influenced by German flavors.

Hosea Kutako International Airport - Windhoek
Day 1: Welcome to Windhoek!
Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by our representative and drive from the airport to your hotel in Windhoek.
Situated in Central Namibia, the cosmopolitan city of Windhoek serves as the capital of the country. It is home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment venues, and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organized, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language. Windhoek has an interesting mix of historical architecture and modern buildings, many of which are worth a look, including the 'Alte Feste' (an old fort), the Christuskirche (Christ church) built in 1896, and the more contemporary Supreme Court.

Windhoek - Fish River Canyon
Day 2: From Windhoek to Fish River Canyon
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Eros Airport, where you will be met by your English-speaking pilot, who will fly you for the rest of the trip. Now the real adventure, flying over Namibia, starts!
Upon landing at the Fish River Canyon, you will head to your lodge for lunch. You have some time to relax and get settled in this new environment before it's time for exploration.
In the afternoon, you will take part in a sun-downer drive in an open vehicle to learn more about the surrounding landscape and wild life.

Fish River Canyon - Tiras Mountains
Day 3: Exploring the Fish River Canyon
Today, you'll get up early, enjoy a good breakfast and leave the lodge in an open vehicle for the Fishriver Canyon.
The Fish River has created Africa’s largest canyon, carving out an epic rocky wonderland in the south of Namibia. Hot, dry and stony, the Fish River Canyon is 160 km long, up to 27 km wide, and up to 550 m deep The awe-inspiring natural beauty of this ancient geological formation draws visitors from around the globe.
For those looking for adventure, the intense Fish River Hiking Trail will provide plenty of adrenaline. Visitors looking to relax should head over to the canyon's southern end to enjoy a soak in the mineral waters of the renowned hot springs of Ai-Ais.
After the visit to the Canyon you will return to your lodge and from there, fly to your next destination! You hop off the airplane at lunchtime. The rest of the afternoon is spent at own leisure.

Tiras Mountains - Namib Desert
Day 4: A Day in the Desert
After a leisurely breakfast, you will fly over the Skeleton Coast and the Namib Naukluft Park to your destination, in the Namib Desert!
What a contrast arriving from the city of Windhoek and the Canyon filled to its brim with activities. You will get off the airplane and enjoy a good lunch at your new home. You have the rest of the afternoon to explore the area or enjoy the amenities of your lodge.

Sossusvlei
Day 5: Iconic Red Sand Dunes, Salt Flats and Canyons
Today a tour to the Sossusvlei and a climb on one of the highest sand dunes in the world awaits you. You will take your breakfast under the Camelthorn trees in the Sossusvlei!
Here you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib. The clear blue skies contrast with the giant red dunes to make this one of the most scenic natural wonders of Africa. Sossusvlei is home to a variety of desert wildlife including oryx, springbok, ostrich and some reptiles.
Then you will drive to Dead Vlei, a white, salty claypan dotted with ancient trees, where you can also climb a few smaller dunes. From there the tour takes you to the nearby Sesriem Canyon, a deep chasm carved into the rocks by water, is a striking natural feature of the area and is best explored on foot.
After a short hike, you will head back to the beautiful lodge for your lunch. The afternoon holds no planned activities so you can decide.

Namib Desert - Swakopmund
Day 6: Flight from the Desert to the Coast
After Breakfast with a beautiful view over the Namib Desert, you will say good-bye and drive to the airfield for your short flight to the coast of Namibia. This scenic flight will give you a great idea of the vastness and diversity of Namibia.
Upon arrival at the coast, you will be picked up and you will drive from the small Airport to Swakopmund, where you will check in and have the rest of the day at leisure!

Swakopmund
Day 7: Enjoy the Coastal Atmosphere in Swakopmund
Today you have a day at your own leisure. You can book optional activities (provided by your pilot) or just relax in the beautiful, nostalgic coastal town Swakopmund.
Set along Namibia's spectacularly scenic coast, the seaside town of Swakopmund is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architecture and is surrounded by outer worldly desert terrain. Founded in 1892 as the main harbor for German South West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort town, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid back atmosphere, and cool sea breeze make it a very popular Namibian destination.

Swakopmund - Windhoek
Day 8: Flight from Swakopmund to Windhoek
After a relaxing breakfast, you will hop back on the plane and fly from Swakopmund to Windhoek. The exact departure time will depend on the weather conditions at the coast and your pilot will inform you of any unforeseen changes.
It is time to say good-bye to your pilot at the airport! Fromthere, you will be transferred to your lodge, situated just outside Windhoek.

Day 9: Goodbye Namibia
The last day of your Namibia trip has started. You have the morning to explore more of Windhoek, taste the last bit of Namibian cuisine or go souvenir shopping before you will be picked up from your lodge and driven to the Windhoek International Airport for your flight back home.
