Day 1: Day 1: Welcome to Montenegro!

Welcome to the beautiful Montenegro! We are going to start this trip off with a bang. We’ll spend today on a nice panoramic ride to Montenegrin inlands, visiting a beautiful medieval monastery, having a small walk in the smallest (but also one of the oldest) national parks in the whole world, tasting some national delicacies, and meeting locals.

In the late afternoon we’ll arrive in an eco village Stavna situated in foothills of Komovi Mountain – just in time to enjoy the sunset over a stunning view of its massive slopes and high peaks.

Day 2: Day 2: Explore the Beautiful Prokletije National Park

For the first excursion we’ll move a bit more towards the south-eastern corner of Montenegro, near the Albanian border, to Prokletije National Park. We’ll hit one of the most attractive routes in this area that connects three peaks placed on the same ridge – Volusnica, Talijanka i Popadija. It's a great excursion for those who want to conquer as many peaks as possible.This amazing trail is probably the best one for experiencing the dramatic beauty of the Prokletije Mountains. For the whole hike, you’ll have perfect views towards the highest, almost vertical peaks on the other side of Grebaja Valley.

Day 3: Day 3: Mystical heights of the Small Giant

Komovi Mountain is in the shadow of some other mountains like Durmitor and Prokletije – but anyone who experiences it once, wants to come there again. Komovi is made of 4 high, rocky peaks in the middle of beautiful wide, grassy swathes that have been the inspiration for many songs in local tradition. The peak that we’ll climb is the “easiest” one –  it takes less than 4 km to get to the top of it. Climbing up its steep slopes you’ll get more and more from this magical mountain, finally finding yourself under the clouds (or maybe just in them) with a view that lets you see 4 countries from the top of the peak: Montenegro, Albania, Serbia and Kosovo

Day 4: Day 4: Welcome to the Kingdom of Pristine Pastures

If you asked an average Montenegrin about Lola Mountain, you’d probably get just a confused face in response. Yes, it really is a hidden treasure of country, placed far from frequent roads in the middle of Montenegro. Lola Mountain is a real stunner that shines with its wide meadows and grassy peaks, giving shelter to many shepherds and their herds during summer months. And it’s one of our favorite mountains.

There are plenty of options for how to spend a day at Lola: if you want to chill after two challenging hikes, we can just walk between the peaks enjoying fabulous landscapes around us. If you want something more than this, we can climb the highest peak (Veliki Zebalac, 2.129 meters of altitude). There are so many options!

Day 5: Day 5: Choose Your Own Adventure

After three active days, you definitely deserve a bit of time off! We have chosen just perfect place for it – the charming eco resort Nevidio placed between two big Mountains (Durmitor and Vojnik), nearby two marvelous glacial lakes and Nevidio Canyon. This is one of the ultimate natural attractions in Montenegro.

There’s also several options offered: to spend a day chilling with a light walk in the village or to go a bit higher to walk around Black Lake, the most beautiful one in Durmitor National Park. The third option is to do an unforgettable canyoning trip through one of the most attractive canyons in whole Europe. You choose, we provide.

In the afternoon we’ll spend some time in a local household enjoying some delicious food and drinks. Homemade and organic.

Day 6: Day 6: Climb the King of the Montenegro Mountains

As we already have said, Durmitor considered a king of “holy mountain” in Montenegro. And Bobotov Kuk is its highest peak. The exciting trail starts at 2,017 meters of altitude at Saddle Pass. True, it’s a challenging trip, both physically and technically, as we’ll pass quite steep slopes and we’ll use the ropes at the last part of the ascent. But it’s very feasible – we have already done many tours at the same level of difficulty.  Also, the prize for all the effort and adrenaline is more than worth it! Standing at the top of the needle in the middle of Durmitor is maybe the most special felling regarding all hiking achievements in Montenegro.

Pluzine - Volujak - Piva Lake

Day 7: Day 7: Beautiful Walk in Volujak

Volujak is one of the highest and the most recognizable peaks in Bioc-Maglic-Volujak mountain massif as well as part of Piva Park of Nature. This rocky area is the 4th highest in Montenegro, placed at the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The trail starts at Stabna village, climbing past two beautiful glacial lakes hidden in the middle of a beech forest. This mountain will keep giving us amazing visual treats. After three hours of hiking we’ll reach the door of the mountain – Bojanska vrata – that opens to a spectacular view of all the peaks. From the pass we’ll walk just 20 minutes more to the top of Volujak to see another national park from above – the ancient forest of Perucica in Bosnia, the biggest virgin forest in Europe. There's nothing like completing your hike with the most spectacular view in Montenegro!

Day 8: Day 8: Delicious Brewery Visit and Farewell!

Even though we have finished with the active part of the trip, there are some more places to visit. On our way back we’ll stop at medieval orthodox monastery of Piva to enjoy its beauty and feel its spirit of calmness. Also, we’ll visit Niksic, second biggest city in Montenegro to have a short walk and to taste fresh beer from its brewery, the oldest and most appreciated beer in the country and further afield.  Afterwards, depending on your itinerary, we will drive you to the airport where you will catch your flight home.
