Passing through the terraced gardens of the village, the trail offers breathtaking views of the canyon-like Wadi.

The Dana Biosphere Reserve is Jordan’s largest biosphere reserve, covering 291 km2 of some of the most diverse landscapes in Jordan. After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Petra and transferred to the Rum Valley where you will start your day adventure.

Rum is a protected area covering 720 square kilometers of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerge, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights of 1700 meters and more. Narrow canyons and fissures cut deep into the mountains and many conceal ancient rock drawings etched by the peoples of the desert over millennia. Bedouin tribes still live among the mountains of Rum and their large goat-hair tents are a special feature of the landscape.

Enjoy hiking in the Raqaba Canyon followed by a 4x4 jeep tour with an expert guide. Have dinner at your desert camp before sleeping.

We will hike the Siq Trail with a local guide, exploring inside the wet Siq, a truly unique experience.

The Mujeb Valley is open from March to October and could be closed sometimes due to weather conditions. For any such incident, we will substitute this with an extended visit in the Dana Biosphere Reserve.

We will proceed back to the entrance and take a visit to the Ajloun Forest, a wonder to behold.

Later, we will check into our cabins and enjoy some free time.

Day 7: Hike the Rasoun Trail

After Breakfast, we spend time hiking in nature on the Rasoun Trail. This trail begins at the Reserve's Visitor Center and takes you to the Soap House in the neighboring village of Orjan. On the way, you will hike through thick, healthy woodlands filled with oak, pistachio, and oriental strawberry trees. Take a short detour to view the ruins of a wine press before you pass one of the oldest strawberry trees in the Reserve on your way down into the valley.

The trail climbs to 1,100m above sea level at Eagle's View Point, and then descends to the Soap House where local women follow the traditional process of making Orjan pure olive oil soap.

Later, we proceed to Jarash to visit the Roman city, viewing Colonnaded Street, the Southern Theater, and Jupiter Temple. After, we drive back to Amman.

Day 8: City Tour of Amman

After breakfast, we explore Amman, the city of brotherly love, with a local guide.

Start with the citadel, called Jebel al-Qala'a, from which you can enjoy a fascinating panoramic view of the Former 7 Hills of Amman. On the highest terrace of the citadel hill are parts of the Omayyad palace, Al Qasr, and not far from it rise the mighty columns of the former Hercules temple in the sky.

On the circular route, you will visit the archaeological museum, which presents finds from a period of over 50,000 years.

We visit Amman downtown, which is referred to as “Wast Al Balad”, which made up Amman until 70 years ago. Later, we walk through one of Amman's oldest neighborhoods for beautiful snapshots, one of the top experiences of the old town. We'll also see the well-preserved Greco-Roman theater with its six thousand seats.

Not far away is the Al-Husseini Mosque, a wonderful market, and falafel shops.
