Cairo
Day 1: Arrival into Cairo
Your Egypt adventure is about to begin! Arrive into Cairo International Airport, meet a representative and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in the capital. Take time to rest, or head out to enjoy the city sights by night.

Giza Pyramid Complex - Great Sphinx Of Giza
Day 2: Experience the Pyramids of Giza
After breakfast at the hotel, head out for a guided visit to the Giza Pyramid Complex. Visit Cheops, the biggest of the three, followed by the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. You’ll also see the impressive Sphinx with the head of a man (57m long), whose role it was to defend the entrance of the tomb against pillagers.
Lunch will be served in a typical local restaurant. Later, visit the capital of the Ancient Egyptian Empire, Memphis, to the south of Cairo. This city was founded by King Menes around 3000 B.C. and was placed under the protection of the god Ptah, patron of artisans. Finally, visit the pyramid of Saqqara, before returning into the heart of Cairo for the night.

Day 3: Cairo's entrancing mosques & palaces
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, set off to visit the Ibn Tulun Mosque and famous Al-Azhar Mosque.
After lunch in a typical restaurant, stop at the grand Prince Mohamed Ali Palace, showcasing the lifestyle of the late 19th- and early 20th-century Egyptian royal prince. The residence compound consists of five separate and distinctively styled buildings, and is surrounded by beautiful Persian gardens.
Later, take a stroll through the historic bazaar of Khan el-Khalili, to end your day's tour on a high note.

Cairo - Alexandria
Day 4: Journey to Alexandria
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart by private car to the coastal city of Alexandria (200km away). Stop en-route to visit a Coptic monastery in the Natrn Valley.
Upon arrival in Alexandria, head to a seafood restaurant to taste the delicious locally-caught fish. Then, visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which make up the largest Roman funerary site in Egypt. This is also the most important and impressive archaeological site in Alexandria.
Finally, you'll visit the beautiful Library of Alexandria, before having the rest of the day free to relax.

Alexandria - Cairo
Day 5: Dive into unique Roman architecture
After breakfast at the hotel, set out to visit Alexandria’s iconic Ancient Roman amphitheater, followed by the impressive Pompey's Pillar.
In the afternoon, you'll tour the Museum of Alexandria and the Citadel of Qaitbay before returning to Cairo, where you'll have the rest of the day to unwind and explore at your leisure.

Day 6: Spend time roaming Old Cairo
Today you'll explore Old Cairo, visiting the Coptic Museum and the Hanging Church which dates back to the 4th century. You'll also witness the wonderful Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church and the beautiful Amr ibn al-As Mosque.
Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant. Then, spend the afternoon at the more modern Museum of Egyptian Civilization, before taking the rest of the day to relax or sightsee at your own pace.

Day 7: Goodbye, Cairo!
Today, as your Egypt adventure comes to a close, your driver will meet you at the hotel for a transfer to the airport, in good time for your homeward flight.
