Day 2: Free day of discovery
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then spend the day exploring the charming multicultural city of Montreal. Stroll along the cobblestone streets of the Old Port and enjoy views of the St Lawrence River. Food lovers should make sure to book a guided culinary tour of the city to discover its best dining spots and snacks. In the late afternoon, we recommend a ride to the top of Mount Royal, overlooking the city at sunset for breathtaking views.
In the evening, head out to discover the diversity of the city's dining scene.

Day 3: Road trip to lake country
Have a long, lazy breakfast, then enjoy a morning in Montreal at your leisure. You might like to book a guided tour to discover the city's famous murals and street art. Every year multiple artworks appear on the streets of Montreal, so a walking tour is an ideal way to explore.
In the afternoon, pick up your rental car and head to your next destination in the Mauricie National Park. The drive will take approximately three hours and you’ll travel through a beautiful landscape of lakes and forest. Your inn for the night is on the shores of a lake; for dinner tonight, you'll have a chance to savour the speciality of the menu, local freshwater trout.

Saint Alexis Des Monts
Day 4: Free day in Mauricie National Park
After breakfast, discover the magnificent wilderness of the Mauricie National Park. There are rivers and forests and over 150 pristine lakes. Serene and green, Mauricie is ideal for hiking and canoe trips. You can also rent bikes or book a tour with a local guide to discover hidden spots and learn about the region.
After a day of activity, head back to your hotel for a hearty and delicious dinner lakeside.

Saint Alexis Des Monts - Saguenay
Day 5: A wilderness journey
After breakfast, set off on an approximately three-hour drive through some of Quebec’s most gorgeous countryside. This spectacular route offers spellbinding views of the Saint-Maurice River and its forested banks. Your journey takes you north to Lake Saint-Jean, where you can check in at your hotel and relax for the evening.

Saguenay
Day 6: Free day by the lake
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, get ready to explore the lake: at over 1050 km², Lake Saint-Jean is a vast body of water in the Laurentian Highlands. There’s a wealth of things to do in the area from hiking along nature trails and biking to an array of water sports on the lake itself. The dining scene is excellent here and there are a host of local restaurants to choose between, as well as museums and art galleries to explore.

Saguenay - Tadoussac - La Malbaie
Day 7: Whale-watching & fjords
Hit the road after breakfast this morning and drive through the gorgeous Fjord Region to the Saint Lawrence River. Here, you’ll embark on a guided cruise to observe majestic whales in their natural habitat. After this unforgettable experience, take the road to the Charlevoix region, renowned for its gastronomy and breathtaking mountain views.
Your journey time today will be approximately four hours in total. Arrive and check in at your new hotel.

Day 8: Charlevoix gastronomy tour
Today, you'll have breakfast at your hotel, and then have the rest of the day to get to know the Charlevoix region and its popular local food culture. Spend the morning on a guided food tour, visiting local producers and learning more about the fascinating local gastronomy. Taste local delicacies, such as smoked fish, wild boar sausage, local cheeses and chocolate. The artisan products of the Charlevoix region are best sellers all around Quebec province, so you won't be disappointed. In the afternoon, you might like to visit one of the two national parks of the region for a hike of your choosing.
Later, head back to the hotel for a free evening of relaxation.

La Malbaie - Quebec
Day 9: Journey to Quebec City
THis morning after breakfast, your next destination will be the charming city of Quebec. Rich in culture and history, Quebec City has a special atmosphere and an old-world feel. The driving time will be approximately two hours but we recommend a stop or two along the way to enjoy the countryside. Montmorency Falls are particularly beautiful and the lovely Ile d'Orléans, an island in the Saint-Lawrence River, is also well worth a visit. Arrive at your hotel in the city and check in. Once you've freshed up, head out and try some of the restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

Quebec
Day 10: Explore Québécois city life
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then spend a free day in Quebec City. We recommend booking a guided tour of the old city to learn more about the secrets and history of its stunning architecture, including the Chateau Frontenac, the Terrasse Dufferin and the Petit-Champlain area. On your last evening in Quebec, you might like to book a gastronomic tour, getting right to the heart of the local food scene with a passionate local guide.
