Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam!

Your dream honeymoon begins today, when you land at the airport in Hanoi. As you exit the arrivals hall, meet your driver who will escort you to your car.

Relax during the ride to your hotel in the city center, where upon arrival, you'll check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Spend some time exploring the picturesque streets of this charming but bustling city, or simply relax in the privacy of your room.

Day 2: Savor Vietnam's exceptional cuisine

One of the highlights of a Vietnam trip is the food! Today, you'll become intimately acquainted with this country's exquisite cuisine on a guided food tour of Hanoi. Beginning with a visit to the local markets, you'll have the chance to meet some of the stall vendors and chat with them about their products.

Continue on an excursion down the hidden alleys of Hanoi's Old Quarter as your guide leads you to local restaurants and street food stalls, where you can taste banh cuon and bun cha. Discover the delights of Vietnamese barbecue and traditional desserts, before ending up in a café that overlooks the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy the views as you sip a hot cup of aromatic coffee or a cold glass of beer.

Day 3: Meet the residents of Red Dao village

Bid adieu to the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and get ready to experience the tranquility of Vietnam's mountainous countryside. Early this morning, you'll be transferred to an eco-lodge set in the middle of stunning nature. After a five-hour drive, check into your bungalow and relax on your private balcony as you take in the scenery.

In the afternoon, enjoy a hike to a remote village. Wander past rice fields, stop to visit a typical wooden house, and finally arrive at Red Dao village where you will meet the friendly local people. Your hosts will introduce you to their way of life and show you their hand-crafted embroidered textiles.

Day 4: Vietnam's remote mountain landscapes

Enjoy a serene breakfast at your hotel, then set out for an excursion through the surrounding landscape that makes up Hoang Lien National Park. 

Today's journey will take you deeper into this verdant setting of rolling green hills and vast swathes of rice fields. You will have several opportunities to meet local villagers and learn more about their customs and traditions. 

Lunch will be served at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge in the most remote area of the Sapa region. After lunch, explore the village and learn about local crafts such as rice paper-crafting, jewelry-making, and embroidery.

Day 5: Journey back to Hanoi

This morning is yours to spend at your leisure. You may choose to simply relax in the comfort of your private room, taking in the scenery from your balcony. Alternatively, you could head out on a mountain bike adventure or take a cable car ride up to Mount Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Cruise the waters of Ha Long Bay

Get ready for one of the highlights of this trip: a two-night cruise on the magnificent Ha Long Bay. You will first be transferred from Hanoi to the dock to board your cruise ship. Check into your cabin and relax, as the ship begins its journey across the bay's emerald waters.

At lunchtime, enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine as you take in the beautiful setting that surrounds you. You'll later have the chance to explore some of the caves and verdant islands of Ha Long Bay, to soak up hidden secrets and more magnificent vistas. You could also relax on white-sand beaches, enjoy a swim in crystal-clear waters, or try your hand at kayaking.

Tonight, a romantic private dinner awaits on board the ship, followed by a sound night's sleep on serene waters.

Day 7: Hidden lagoons & secret caves

Another full day of cruising is on the agenda for today. Wake up early to witness the sun rise over the waters of Ha Long Bay - a truly sensational view. You could then partake in an exercise class on the ship's upper deck, or simply relax over breakfast.

Later, board a day boat to some of the area's secret coves and caves. Explore Thay Cave, one of the largest in this area. Continuing deeper into the further recesses of the bay, you'll discover hidden lagoons and breathtaking white sandy beaches, as you cruise past towering limestone islands. 

Back on the main cruise ship in the afternoon, choose to be pampered in the on-board spa, or take a cooking class before tonight's barbecue dinner.

Day 8: Hello, Phuket!

Wake up early this morning so you'll have time to visit two unique parts of Ha Long Bay: Vung Vieng, a renowned fishing village where residents harvest pearls, and the Vung Vieng floating village where you'll board a bamboo boat for a very special exploration.

Afterwards, return to the main ship for the last leg of your cruise. While the ship is heading back to the mainland, you can enjoy lunch on board. Then, upon your arrival at the dock, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for an onwards flight to Phuket. Your honeymoon adventure continues in Thailand!

Day 9: Welcome to paradise

This morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Phuket followed by a speedboat transfer to the Phi Phi Islands. The last three nights of your dream honeymoon will be spent in this little piece of paradise. 

After checking into your beach resort, spend some time getting acquainted with your new accommodation. You may choose to relax in the privacy of your room or head out to dive into the crystal-clear waters just steps from your hotel.

Day 10: Luxuriate on the beach

The next two days are yours to do exactly as you wish in the paradisiacal setting of the Phi Phi Islands. This magical place will enchant you with its white-sand beaches and warm Andaman Sea waters. Spend this free time truly celebrating your love for each other, and enjoying the serene and secluded setting to your heart's content.

Day 11: Explore a vibrant underwater world

The last full day of your honeymoon has arrived. Make the most of it by continuing your sun-drenched relaxation or setting out on an adventure. 

The Phi Phi Islands are renowned for being one of the best places in the world for scuba diving. Make your way beneath the water's surface and discover an underwater paradise of extraordinary coral reefs, where an abundance of colorful marine life resides. Some species you might spot include small reef sharks, barracuda, squid, and leopard sharks.

Day 12: Say goodbye to Thailand

Your 12-day honeymoon to Vietnam and Thailand comes to an end today. Enjoy your final moments together in paradise, before you board the boat for your transfer back to Phuket.
