Discover both the past and present of this centre of Scottish culture and heritage. Visit the Castle for afternoon tea and absorb the fascinating history of this most iconic landmark.

Edinburgh - St Andrews - Aviemore
Day 3: Day 3 - St Andrews to Aviemore
Head north across the Firth of Forth to St Andrews. Explore the home of golf at the Old Course, and enjoy the stunning coastline before heading north into the true wilds of Scotland.

Aviemore - Fort William
Day 4: Day 4 - Aviemore to Fort William
Wake in the heart of the Cairngorms, and revel in this most spectacular landscape with a guided wildlife tour, before heading west to Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK with Ben Nevis as its dramatic backdrop.

Cross the breathtaking Kyle of Lochalsh to reach Skye and the bustling port of Portree, a thriving cultural hub, ideal for exploring the island.

Portree - Dunvegan - Portree
Day 6: Day 6 - Dunvegan
Savour the wealth of history of Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and ancestral home of the Chiefs of clan MacLeod for 800 years. Back in Portree, enjoy fresh Scottish food and the best of Scottish culinary heritage at the Three Chimneys.

Portree - Broadford - Portree
Day 7: Day 7 - Broadford
Head to Broadford, dominated by the Red Cuillin mountains and offering magnificent views across to Applecross on the mainland. Spot marine wildlife, from otters to orcas, before returning to Portree for the final night on Skye.
