Negombo
Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival, you'll be met at the airport by your friendly guide who will assist you with your luggage before taking you into Negombo. Often referred to as Little Rome, Negombo is an old and large fishing town steeped in history.
Check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the night. Alternatively, feel free to explore the rest of the city at your own leisurely pace.

Day 2: Traverse a tea plantation
After a delicious breakfast, you'll head to Hatton, approximately five hours away, to visit a tea plantation in the hillside regions.
Of course, you'll be able to taste the locally grown, world-renowned Ceylon tea, but first, you'll get an insider's view into how it's produced as well as the meticulous process that has sustained these communities for decades.
Afterwards, spend the night in Hatton. There's nothing like the serenity of a stay in the mountainous regions of the country.

Day 3: Walks & waterfalls
Today is your chance to explore the rest of the area! Colloquially known as 'the tea capital of the country', Hatton is a major center of the Sri Lankan tea industry and is one of the busiest cities in the hill country. It borders and outranks the plantations of Maskeliya, Talawakelle, Bogawantalawa, and Dickoya.
Your first stop today is a cascading waterfall. The walk there is made worth it with the panoramic views and picnic that await your arrival. Afterwards, you'll return back to your resort where you can spend the day as you wish.

Hatton - Kitulgala - Hatton
Day 4: Whitewater rafting in Kitulgala
You'll need all the energy you can get from your scrumptious breakfast before heading to Kitulgala to embark on a whitewater rafting safari. Covering five major rapids and four minor rapids, you'll sojourn down the picturesque Kelani River.
The river and its surroundings will have the adrenaline rushing at points but also the heart and mind at peace as you float by the banks that keep it at bay. You'll be enchanted and put under a spell by its beauty.

Day 5: A scenic train journey to Kandy
Today, take a train to Kandy, the capital of the hill country, which is rich in culture and tradition. Check in at the hotel and spend some time at leisure. In the late afternoon, you will visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, the Tooth Temple, and enjoy a cultural & traditional Sri Lankan dance show.
Kandy, located in the central highlands has an urban buzz merged with great history and is surrounded by beautiful hills with refreshing lush greenery.

Day 6: Experience paradise at Gal Oya
After enjoying breakfast at your resort, you'll depart from Kandy and head to Gal Oya.
Check in to your unique eco-lodge spread across 20 acres of private jungle. Here you can reconnect with nature in the haven of serenity. Be sure to take your time enjoying this natural paradise through the on and off-site experiences they have on offer!

Day 7: Meet the local Indigenous community & an evening safari
You may not be familiar with the word Vedda, but it’s an ancient word synonymous with local Sri Lankan culture and tradition. The Vedda are the forest-dwelling, indigenous people of central Sri Lanka, having inhabited the island for hundreds of years, living off of the land and being at one with nature. In the morning, you'll be led by the village chief on a walk through the jungles of his ancestors.
In the evening, you'll enjoy a safari in Gal Oya National Park. You wouldn't want to miss this unforgettable opportunity to spot wildlife!

Day 8: Trek to Monkey Mountain
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, before you trek to Monkey Mountain! Famed for its namesake-friendly companions, you'll be able to see the monkeys romp around in their natural habitat.
In the evening, you'll enjoy an evening boat safari where you'll be able to discover and witness the usually hidden behavior of certain animals such as swimming elephants.

Day 9: Journey to Passikudah
Today, depart Gal Oya and head to the coastal cove of Passikudah.
Passikudah has a beautiful curved bay with extremely shallow water and is known to have one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world! Perfect for wading in as you watch the sun rise and set.
After you check-in your hotel, you can spend the the day as you wish.

Day 10: A day of relaxation
Whether you wake up to the sun rising over the horizon or choose to sleep in, know that today there's nothing on the agenda besides activities decided by you.
Head into town or laze by the beach, any decision is a great decision!

Day 11: Final day on the coast
Today is your final day in Passikudah! Spend the day as you wish by walking along the beach, soaking up some sun, or catching up on some sleep to get ready for the rest of the tour! This will be the last stop along the coast before heading further in land.

Day 12: Enlightenment in Anuradhapura
Say goodbye to Passikudah and head to Anuradhapura.
Check in at the hotel and spend the day as you wish. You could stroll, explore and familiarise yourself with the mysticism of the city or enjoy some time at the pool. Who says it's one or the other? Why not both!

Day 13: Exploring the city by bike
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you'll start the day with a bike tour of Anuradhapura.
Anuradhapura is Sri Lanka’s longest-lasting capital and was one of the great monastic cities of the ancient world flourishing with Buddhist culture and crowning architectural achievements. The city isn't short of magnificent palaces, elaborate sculptures, opulent gardens, and enormous stupas built to protect the most sacred relics of Buddhism.

Anuradhapura - Ritigala - Anuradhapura
Day 14: A jungle adventure to Ritigala Mountain
In the morning, you'll be taken to Ritigala. Here, you'll walk through the Ritigala Forest Monastery, ruins that spread across 700 acres of land. Once home to forest monks who lived a simple way of life detached from the wider world.
Shaded by a thick canopy of jungle, Ritigala is unlike any other experience. The incline to the peak of the mountain is gradual and is surrounded by ruins. It has since been abandoned with the jungle taking back what was once its.

Anuradhapura - Pidurangala - Colombo
Day 15: Summit Pidurangala Rock
Today, you'll make your way back to Colombo. On the way make a stop at Pidurangala Rock to climb to the summit.
Before arriving at its peak, prepare yourself to be left speechless. Once the climb is over, you'll be delighted at the breathtaking view of the surrounding vista. From the top, you'll see jungle that stretches for miles as well as the neighbouring Sigiriya Rock. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Day 16: Goodbye, Sri Lanka
It may be your final day, but start early for a quick city tour of Colombo!
Take a peek into a handful of Colombo’s sacred spaces, as you stroll with your guide through Kochichikade into the sights and sounds of Pettah’s lively streets.
After, you'll be transferred to the airport ready for your safe flight home.
