Day 1: Welcome to Poland!
We will pick you up directly at the arrival hall of Warsaw Airport to take you straight to your hotel.
From this point we will take full responsibility for your memorable experience in Poland, taking care of all the arrangements included for your tour!

Day 2: See All Warsaw's Attractions - In One Day!
Warsaw, the historic city, has survived a lot.
One of the best licensed city guides will take you on a great tour that will let you see all of Warsaw's attractions in one day.
Take a stroll along the Royal Way passing Old Town Market, Royal Castle, St. John’s Cathedral up to the Presidential Palace - all rebuilt from scratch after World War II.
Climb up to the gardens on top of Warsaw University. There is a viewpoint for the Vistula River and the city center.
During this tour you will see the Old and New Town, Royal Baths Park, City Centre, Wilanow, National Football Stadium, Park of the Fountains and Jewish Ghetto. Lunch will be served at the Belvedere Restaurant picturesquely located at the Royal Baths Park.
Your tour enables you to combine the aristocratic, 18th-century history of Poland with more contemporary times.

Zelazowa Wola - Krakow
Day 3: Explore the Countryside and Sights Around Warsaw
For this part of your time in Warsaw, we recommend to escape for one day and see the most beautiful and famous places within 50 km distance of the city.
The day's tour includes Frédéric Chopin’s birthplace in Zelazowa Wola with its old manor and an outstanding park. There is a museum to visit - an amazing place full of history and music.
You will also see a Baroque Palace in Nieborow which will get you closer to the Polish aristocrats’ life of the 17th century. If you wish, you can also see the town of Niepokalanow - with the monastery devoted to St Maksymilian Kolbe, who sacrificed his life to rescue another prisoner’s life in Auschwitz.
On the way back you will see a beautiful English-style Garden in the village of Arkadia.
After the tour you will have a convenient transfer to Krakow by train.

Krakow
Day 4: Welcome to the Royal City of Krakow
Join our guided walking tour of the historic Old Town, a World Heritage Site, exploring Wawel Hill’s stunning complex of buildings including the Royal Castle with a Renaissance courtyard.
Enjoy panoramic vistas from atop the Wawel Cathedral tower and don’t forget to touch the gigantic Sigismund Bell for luck! You will continue to visit Kazimierz district and discover its Christian and Jewish quarters.
We will serve lunch at one of the restaurants located at Miodowa Street, at the heart of Jewish District.
Next, step up on your Krakow tour is the Podgorze district with its Jewish Ghetto, established in 1941. If you have seen the movie Schindler’s List, you will be aware of Oskar Schindler’s Factory, your next stop.
Finish your evening on a musical note with a one-hour Chopin concert.
Have dinner in one of the restaurants serving regional cuisine.

Krakow - Auschwitz
Day 5: Tour the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial
On this day we offer a tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial. See the largest of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camps.
Visit the former Camp with a local English-speaking guide, in a group of approximately 30 people. You will see an unloading platform, watchtowers, fences, barracks, the camp bathhouse, the wall for execution, jail cells and more.
Start you tour through the gates bearing the inscription Arbeit Macht Frei (Work Sets You Free) and learn about the reality of life at the camps. The Museum and Memorial to the victims of Nazi Germans presents documentary photographs which record the tragic fate of the prisoners.
Visiting both parts of the Camps (Auschwitz and Birkenau) takes about 3,5 hrs in total.

Krakow - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - Wadowice
Day 6: Trace the Footsteps of John Paul II in Wadowice
Take an unforgettable pilgrimage trip following in the footsteps of Pope John Paul II.
Begin with a visit to Wadowice, the hometown of Karol Wojtyla. Visit the house where he was born and the parish church where he was baptized and went to pray.
The next stop will be a visit to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a town boasting one of the largest European Calvary sanctuaries and a monastery.
On your way back to Kraków, visit the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagiewnik. There is an interesting modern basilica there consecrated by Pope John Paul II during his last visit to Poland. Lagiewnik also features the newly-opened Sanctuary and the Museum of John Paul II.

Krakow - Tyniec
Day 7: Visit the Kosciuszko Mound and the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec
Escape the typical tourist route and visit some of Krakow’s hidden gems!
Visit the Kosciuszko Mound, which is not only a perfect place for a walk but also a very important place for its historical significance.
Along the way and up on the hill you can admire the remains of the old 19th-century fortress, which helped to protect the city.
When you reach the top you will have a chance to see how this fortress looks from the outside. Why not stop to enjoy the breathtaking views and drink a coffee at the local cafe?
Travel back in time as your driver takes you to the medieval Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, picturesquely located on a hill overlooking the Vistula river. A guide will tell you about the history of this unique site and you will also listen to the Abbey’s stories and legends.

Krakow - Częstochowa
Day 8: Visit the Sanctuary of Jasna Gora
Take a religious tour to the home of the Black Madonna painting, a miraculous icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Visit the beautiful baroque monastery of Jasna Gora – the national shrine and a spiritual center of Poland.
During your visit to the sanctuary you will see the main Basilica, the chapel where the Holy Icon of Our Lady is placed, the Way of the Cross of Jasna Gora, the treasury and Jasna Gora Museum. You will also have time for prayer and/or lunch at ‘the pilgrim-house’.
The Sanctuary of Jasna Gora was among the favorite destinations of John Paul II. Every year it is visited by a few millions of pilgrims and tourists from Poland, Europe and from all over the world – be one of them!

Krakow - Zakopane
Day 9: Travel to Mountainous Zakopane
Spend the day at your leisure in Krakow.
Explore the beauty of Krakow on your own, strolling along the picturesque cobbled alleys of the wonderful historic center.
In the afternoon we will take you to Zakopane, a highlander town located at the foot of the Tatra Alpine Mountain Range.

Zakopane - Szczawnica
Day 10: Amazing Landscapes in Zakopane and Rafting Along the Dunajec River Gorge
This will be one of the most action-packed days of your tour!
Head to Zakopane - the most famous mountain resort in Poland, the town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains – the most beautiful and the only Alpine-like mountain range in the country.
See the unique wooden churches and other examples of a traditional local wooden architecture. The second stop will be Dunajec River Gorge - located just about 45 minutes drive from Zakopane.
Time for leisure rafting! This is a perfectly safe activity for everyone, taking place on traditional wooden rafts. This type of raft has been in use in the area for centuries and were originally used for the transportation of goods and people.

Zakopane - Warsaw Airport
Day 11: Farewell, Poland!
You will be taken from your hotel back to Warsaw Airport for your flight back home.
We will provide a comfortable private transfer with an English-speaking driver.
