This short Nepal experience trip will leave you in awe of the country's incredible nature, culture, and wildlife. You'll start in the city of Temples and stupas: Kathmandu. Explore incredible temples, markets, restaurants, and beautiful public parks. Next, you're off to the UNESCO listed natural site of Chitwan National Park where you'll go on safaris of all shapes and sizes. Spot monkeys, rhinos, leopards, and even tigers if you're lucky. Your last stop will be the city of lakes and the gateway to the famous Annapurna region. Pokhara is Nepal's adventure capital and it's not hard to see why. Try out some adventure sports, go hiking in the mountains, or simply shop on the beautiful market streets. You'll enjoy one awe-inspiring sunrise in the Himalayas that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Arrival In Kathmandu Airport - Transfer To The Hotel
Day 1: Touch Down in Majestic Nepal
Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal's bustling capital city. As soon as you touch down in this magical land at the top of the world, you'll be eagerly greeted by your guide and locals alike, then whisked off to your comfy hotel in the city center. Take time to relax when you arrive, and explore your beautiful accommodations.
If you're not too jet-lagged, set out to explore the city in the evening. Head to a delicious local restaurant where you can have your very first taste of local food and go to bed with a full and happy stomach!

Patan Durbar Square - Swayambhunath Stupa Guided Tour
Day 2: Explore Brilliant Kathmandu
Wake up to your first exciting day in Nepal! You'll visit Patan Durbar Square and its surroundings, a brilliant specimen of ancient Newari architecture. You'll also explore the famous Krishna Temple with 21 pinnacles built in Shikhar style. Next, your guide will take you to Mahaboudha, the terra cotta masterpiece of the 14th century.
You'll have time to explore incredible Kathmandu at your leisure with your local guide to show you all the best spots in the city. Your last stop of the day will be Swayambhunath, more famously known as the Monkey Temple. You'll take a guided tour here and see all the major sights while you guide explains the religious and cultural significance.

Day 3: Journey to Chitwan National Park
Today you'll wake early for your first trip outside of Kathmandu Valley. The scenic drive from Kathmandu will take you all the way to Sauraha. Jungle adventure awaits you in Chitwan National Park.
Chitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia and lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal. When you arrive, you'll embark on an exciting safari to view all kinds of abundant wildlife. It is home for some endangered species such as the royal Bengal tiger, the one-horned Rhinoceros, and leopards. Gaurs, as well as sloth bears, monkeys, and varieties of deer and crocodiles, can also be spotted. A multitude of butterflies and over 530 species of colorful birds make the park burst with life.
During your time in the park, you'll also get to experience an exotic Tharu cultural dance and a village tour. End your day with jaw-dropping sunset views.

Day 4: Thrilling Wildlife Safaris by Car, Boat, and Foot
On your second day in Chitwan National Park, you'll embark on some incredible wildlife safaris to spot more amazing animals. Start your day early with a jeep safari through the jungle, getting up close and personal to some of the sleeping giants like leopards and tigers. Your expert guide will help you spot them along the way.
Around midday, take a walking safari along paths carved out among the dense trees. Look closely for birds and closely inspect some of the plant life in the thick jungle. In the evening, enjoy a fantastic canoe ride along the water where you'll be able to spot rhinos bathing in the steams and crocodiles stalking their every move.

Chitwan - Drive To Pokhara, The City Of Lake - Explore Lakeside
Day 5: On to Pokhara, the Adventure Capital
Pokhara is Nepal's second city but for many, it should be the first for its serene nature and opportunity for adventure at every turn. It is famous for the gorgeous Himalayan mountain range and pristine lakes. This is the most famous place for trekking and other activities.
While in Pokhara, you'll have the chance to try out some adventure sports such as hiking and paragliding. If you're not into extreme action and adrenaline rushes, spend your time shopping in the peaceful downtown area. Indulge yourself in some of the local foods and spend time walking around the city's crystal clear lake.

Day 6: Sunrise in the Himalayas
Get ready to wake up early in the morning for a day filled with awe-inspiring landscapes and views so stunning you'll think you're in a postcard. Before dawn, you'll be driven to the Sarangkot viewpoint where you'll wait for an epic sunrise. From here, you will take in amazing views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and Mt Fishtail. You'll also be able to see a panoramic view of Pokhara valley.
After the sun is up, you will hike down to Pokhara Valley and enjoy a tasty breakfast. Later in the afternoon, you can visit the temple middle of the lake by taking a boat to it. In addition, hop on a sightseeing tour of pretty Pokhara.

Pokhara - Drive Back To Kathmandu - Explore Thamel
Day 7: Discover Thamel, Kathmandu's Favorite Neighborhood
After some exciting times in Pokhara, it's time to head back to Kathmandu. You'll arrive early with enough time to set out exploring parts of the city you might have missed the first time.
You'll especially love the Thamel neighborhood inside Kathmandu. Here, quirky pubs, live music, and incredible food steal the show. You'll walk around the area at your own pace, visiting places like the Garden of Dreams with its beautiful statues, fountains, and pavilions that draw both visitors and locals. After, do some shopping on Mandala Street, where you can barter for local artisan crafts and even take a yoga class.

Kathmandu - Transfer To The Airport - Departure
Day 8: Say Goodbye to Nepal
In the morning, enjoy one last breakfast at your hotel before packing up. If you have a late flight, head back into Kathmandu for one last tasty lunch or one last visit to a gorgeous temple.
When it's time to say goodbye, head to the airport to catch your flight, but not without reminiscing about the sweet memory of Nepal with its amazing temples, mountains, nature, people, and smiles.
