Detailed Itinerary

Podgorica - Sipcanik - Herceg Novi
Day 1: Welcome to Montenegro!
Welcome to Montenegro!
Upon arrival, you will visit the Wine Cellar Sipcanik, one of the most splendid venues in Montenegro. Transformed from an old military airport is now an impressive treasury of wine.
The cellar is located in the middle of the vineyard, in the same land, in the same rocks from which the grapevines come from. It is shaped like a spiral tunnel, 356 m long, with an impressive surface of 7.000 m2. The temperature is almost permanent-between 17 and 19 degrees. This truly unique venue is ideal for a gala dinner, fashion show, or other special events.
Later, check into your five-star hotel. Located in sunny and warm Herceg Novi, this hotel is rebuilt on the remains of an 18th-century Venetian fortress.

Day 2: Herceg Novi City Tour
This one and a half hour walking tour of the city will take you down the many steps (and there are 100,001 in total) of one of the least explored towns of the famous Boka bay.
A town that boasts a very colorful history for which even the popular Kotor can be envious. It is an endless puzzle of fortresses, squares, churches, and stories that create a gateway to the bay’s and Montenegro’s history.
The rest of the day will be spent at your own pace and leisure.

Day 3: Discover the Royal Montenegro of the Past
Start your tour by exploring the Old Town of Budva. As one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic region and the center of Montenegro’s tourism, Budva is surely at the top of many visitors` list of places to see.
The tour will take you through the narrow allies and squares of the Old Town where you will hear about the turbulent history of Budva and its evolution from a small Greek colony in the 4th c. BC to the best-known spot on the Montenegrin coast. This is the place where every corner under the sturdy town walls is a sight unto itself.
The tour continues towards Cetinje – the former capital of Montenegro. Here, you will visit the King Nicola museum and hear stories about the most famous Montenegrin royal family.
From Cetinje continue the drive towards Lovcen National Park. You can climb the 461 stairs to the top of the mountain Lovcen.
