Detailed Itinerary

Antananarivo
Day 1: Welcome to Madagascar
Arrival day; airport transfer included.
The trip begins in Madagascar's vibrant capital. Enjoy two days discovering the historical sites and cultural attractions of the town and island. The accommodation is on the tree-lined Tana waterfront; take a refreshing dip in the outdoor rooftop pool and enjoy the views across the city and the bay. For easy dining the hotel offers a wide selection of international dishes, grilled meats, and fresh seafood. There is also a convenient café and a terrace lounge bar. Antananarivo itself has plenty of options for lunch and dinner. Most reflect the French influence in the region, but there is something for every palate. Try La Plantation for a brasserie-style menu; for a real treat, the Marais is hard to beat.

Antananarivo
Day 2: Day 2 - Antananarivo
Antananarivo offers plenty to see and do. For a cultural experience, explore the Royal Palace before visiting the Musee de l'Art et de l'Archeologie. For a more nature-themed day, spend time wandering through the Conservatoire Botanique de Madagascar and discover Lemurs at the tranquil Lemur Park.

Antananarivo - Nosy Be
Day 3: Day 3 - Antananarivo to Nosy Be
Nosy Be is the biggest island of the Nosy archipelago and offers paradise beaches and a turquoise sea. Known as the Perfume Island after the Ylang Ylang plantations, the island gets over 300 hundred days of sun each year and is the perfect destination to relax and unwind. Arrive by boat and begin to shake off the everyday hustle and bustle of modern life. Villa Vintana awaits, offering a warm welcome, a stunning setting and sustainable values. Relax by the long pool with panoramic views, enjoy a la carte dining, and rest in one of 5 well-equipped rooms (honeymoon suite available on request).

Nosy Be - Nosy Sakatia
Day 4: Day 4 - Visit Nosy Sakatia
Just a short boat ride away is the island of Nosy Sakatia, the Orchid island. With abundant flora and fauna, thanks to a protected ecosystem, the island is well worth exploring on guided hikes. At the beach, partake in one of the numerous activities available, or simply enjoy a massage, sunbathing and rest. Lunch is taken 'with your feet in the water' - freshly picked fruit and locally sourced seafood are brought together in local dishes to provide a taste of the island's delights.

Nosy Be - Nosy Iranja
Day 5: Day 5 - Visit Nosy Iranja
The furthest excursion of the week is to Nosy Iranja, but the journey is well worth it. Rated among the top 10 most beautiful islands in the world, it is actually two smaller islets connected by a sandbar. The boat trip offers the chance to spot dolphins, turtles, flying fish and even whale sharks. Arriving at the main island, it is worth exploring on foot for an hour or two, heading out into the water for some snorkelling, or simply kicking back and relaxing by the beach. More tasty food awaits, with grilled dishes served with rice and plenty of vegetables and fruit.

Nosy Be - Nosy Komba
Day 6: Day 6 - Visit Nosy Komba
Nosy Komba, or Nosy Ambariovato, is known as the Island of Lemurs and it is easy to see why. Volcanic and densely vegetated, this is the place to see Lemurs in their natural habitat. Join a guided island tour to learn about their life here and see plenty of other tropical plants, animals and birds. Offshore excursions offer the chance to see whale sharks, turtles and much more; diving and snorkelling here is excellent. While packed with opportunities, the island still reflects the relaxed pace of the region; pick the experience that best suits your needs today.

Nosy Be - Antananarivo
Day 7: Day 7 - Nosy Be to Antananarivo
Bid a fond farewell to Nosy Be and return to Antananaviro. There is more time to explore the city or head out to explore more of Madagascar for the afternoon.
