Day 1: Welcome To The Samburu National Reserve!
Welcome to Kenya! You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning to travel to Kenya’s northern frontier to the wild and rugged Samburu National Reserve, fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River.
Arrive by lunchtime and later embark on a late afternoon game drive. Dinner will be served at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Enjoy Time At The Samburu Game Reserve
Spend the whole day exploring the park. The highlights of the Samburu Game Reserve are the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers, and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage.
The reserve houses numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife, especially cats - leopard, cheetah, lion, as well as Oryx, Somali Ostrich, elephant, Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy’s Zebras, gerenuk, buffalo, Grant’s gazelles, waterbucks, baboons, impala, dik-dik, antelopes and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuary. Among them, you will find Somali ostrich, go-away birds, secretary bird, lilac-breasted rollers, weavers, sunbirds, hornbills, spur fowl, guinea fowl, and vultures.

Day 3: Explore The Highlights Of Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru.
Lake Nakuru is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley, home to over 400 species of birds. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino.
The other highlights at Lake Nakuru National Park are the spectacular viewpoints like Baboon cliff, Lion Hill and Out of Africa, and the Makalia Waterfalls at the southern end of the park.
The park is also famous for its unique vegetation including the largest euphorbia forest in Africa and the yellow acacia woodlands. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge inside the national park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive.

Day 4: Make Your Way To The Scenic Rift Valley
After breakfast, make your way south via the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara to arrive in good time for lunch.
You will go on late afternoon game drives followed by dinner and stay overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Spend The Day Exploring The Masai Mara Reserve
Spend the day exploring the park in search of the Big 5! The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya.
The easily spotted game are virtually the Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, eland, impala, antelopes, Masai giraffe, elephants, buffalo, warthog, the big cats, leopard, cheetah, lion. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzanian border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June.
The reserve is rich with birdlife, with about 452 species recorded. At an extra cost, you may visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle. The Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have coexisted with the animals over the years.

Day 6: Farewell, Kenya!
Go on a morning game drive to further explore the park.
Then, drive to Nairobi via Narok, stopping to browse the bustling, vibrant Masai markets and perhaps buy curios and handicrafts before continuing to Nairobi, where our safari ends.
