Day 1: Welcome to Lapland
Tervetuloa! Welcome to Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus, nestled just beyond the Arctic Circle. On arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your cosy city-centre hotel, where you’ll be based for the duration of your stay.
Surrounded by snow-dusted forests and frozen landscapes, Rovaniemi is the gateway to Lapland’s winter magic. Settle into your hotel, then spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the town’s charming streets, enjoying the warmth of Finnish hospitality or relaxing in the comfort of your accommodation in preparation for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Husky safari & Northern Lights
After breakfast, visit a local husky farm to meet these energetic sled dogs, and learn about their breeding and training. Following a safety briefing, embark on a 5 km husky safari, gliding through sparkling snow-covered forests and alongside dramatic lakes. Afterwards, warm up with traditional hot berry juice and gingerbread biscuits.
In the evening, set off on a Northern Lights photography tour deep in the Arctic wilderness. Your expert guide will capture high-quality images of this dramatic phenomenon and, if you have your own camera, will assist you in capturing your own images of the aurora borealis. Out in the forest, away from light pollution, you'll enjoy a crackling campfire and hear stories of Lapland’s folklore, while sampling delicious fire-cooked reindeer sausage. Return to your hotel with a collection of professional aurora photos arranged by your guide.

Day 3: Snowmobiling & reindeer farm
This morning, gear up for an exhilarating snowmobiling safari. Departing from your hotel after breakfast, you'll be provided with thermal clothing and a safety briefing, before heading to the snowmobile base in the forest. Ride through Lapland’s pristine wilderness, with a break midway to switch drivers. At the end, refreshments of hot drinks and biscuits are provided, with time to rest and enjoy the glorious Arctic scenery.
Later, visit a traditional reindeer farm, where you’ll meet local Sámi herders, feed the reindeer and learn about Lapland’s centuries-old reindeer culture. A hearty Finnish dinner will be served before heading to a remote viewing spot for another chance to witness the Northern Lights.

Day 4: Snowy hike in Riisitunturi National Park
After breakfast today, you'll journey to Riisitunturi National Park, a place of otherworldly snow-laden landscapes. You'll trek through dense Arctic forests in a place that's renowned as one of the most beautiful areas of Lapland. If the snow is deep, your guide will provide snowshoes. Discover this true winter wonderland as your guide shares insights about the region’s unique ecosystem.
Enjoy a break around a campfire with a traditional Lappish barbecue washed down with hot blueberry juice, before completing your scenic hike. Return to Rovaniemi for your final night's stay.
