Day 1: Welcome To Colombia!
Arrive in Bogota El Dorado International Airport. You will betTransferred to your hotel in the Candelaria district.
Take some free time to enjoy the Colombian capital on your own, where modern districts and a historic center, urban architecture and green parks stand alongside.
Spend the night at Casa Deco Hotel.

Day 2: Tour The Highlights Of Bogota
Explore Bogota, the capital of Colombia, known for its colonial and authentic atmosphere. Walking through its cobblestone streets you will discover colorful restored colonial mansions and splendid carved wooden balconies, as well as churches built in baroque style.
Visit the Gold Museum, which displays one of the most dazzling collection in South America. Those artifacts come from different civilizations : Quimbayas, Taironas, Muiscas or Tolimas.
Also, check out the Botero Museum, which is dedicated to the most famous Colombian artist, Fernando Botero.
Next, head to the Bolivar Square (la Plaza Bolivar), surrounded by the grandest buildings in the city, including the Town Hall, the Palace of Justice, Primatial Cathedral and Congress Building. The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy Bogota as you please.

Day 3: Fly To Amazing Caño Cristales
Transfer to Bogota Airport for your domestic flight to La Macarena the starting point of Caño Cristales excursions.
Once in La Macarena, you will take boat to sail on the Guayabero river, before continuing by jeep to the entrance of Caño Cristalito. Situated near Caño Cristales discover the beautiful wilderness of this area. You will file like walking in some magic land!
The access to the sites in Caño Cristales is highly regulated. The protection authority, Cormacarena, issues entry permits day by day. The itinerary of your tour is therefore subject to change. In addition, the site is highly protected. Access to the sites where there is red algae is only granted from the second day of excursion. It is forbidden to use sunscreen.

Day 4: Witness The Otherworldly Wonders of Caño Cristales
After breakfast in a local restaurant, board a boat for about ten minutes before continuing by 4x4 to reach the entrance of Caño Cristales.
Depending on the paths opened by the park that day, you will discover several waterfalls with poetic names: Quartz waterfalls, the Virgin Rock, the Pianos or the Waterfalls of Love. Admire the famous river known for its hundreds of shades of red and green.
Return to La Macarena (by walking, boat and 4x4) and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. A “fiambre” (typical dish served on a plantain leaf) will be served for lunch during your hike.
Stay at La Cascada Hotel overnight.

Day 5: Keep Enjoying the Astonishing Caño Cristales
On your third day, you will have the chance to see other parts of Caño Cristales, such as Tablas de la Ley, Casada Escalera, Salto del Aguila or Los Pailones (as per the paths opened that day by the park). Immerse yourself into the colorful magic - you will feel like you ar ein paradise!
Return to La Macarena (walking, boat and 4x4) and spend the rest of the day on your own. A “fiambre” (typical dish served in a plantain leaf) will be served for lunch during your hike.
Stay at La Cascada Hotel overnight.

Day 6: Take A Half-Day Excursion To Caño Piedra
Today is your last day in the Meta department, where you will enjoy a half-day excursion to Caño Piedra.
Have lunch in La Macarena and transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Bogota.

Bogota - Santa Marta - Tayrona
Day 7: Make Your Way To Lush Tayrona National Park
Rise and shine! This morning prepare for a flight to Santa Marta. Upon your arrival at Santa Marta Airport,transfer to your hotel inside the Tayrona National Park.
Spend the rest of the day between jungle and sea, walking in the rainforest, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or relaxing on the pristine beaches… just let go of everything and clear your mind!

Day 8: Enjoy Paradise In Tayrona
Today you will spend the whole day enjoying Tayrona Park, between the jungle and the beaches of the Caribbean Sea.
Alternate between hiking in the lush tropical forest, going for a short horseback ride and swimming in the beautiful waters of “La Piscina”. Take a lunch break near San Juan de Guia Cape and relax on the Arrecifes pristine beaches.

Day 9: Discover The Exciting Sierra Nevada
Depart for the Sierra Nevada. Tayronaka is a lost city of the Tayrona Indigenous people.
Retrace the history of this ancient civilization with your guide. Then you will board a lancha, a small motorboat, to go down the Don Diego river all the way to the Caribbean Sea. You will have the chance to see many monkeys and colorful birds. Return to the reserve and have lunch in the heart of the Sierra Nevada.
Depart for Cartagena de Indias, the undisputed queen of the Caribbean coast and transfer to your hotel in the historical center.
Spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 10: Delve Into The Colonial Charms Of Cartagena
Rise and shine! In the morning, go for a guided walking tour through the Walled City, including a visit to the most beautiful areas such as San Diego, Plaza Santo Domingo, Getsemani and other landmarks with very rich history.
The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy the city according to your desires. Go out and feel the spirit of the city.

Day 11: Chill In The Beautiful Rosario Archipelago
Wake up to another beautiful day in Colombia!Get ready for a transfer between your hotel and the port of Cartagena.
Relax for the day in the heart of the beautiful Rosario archipelago. On your program are: relaxing on the beaches, swimming in the heart of the Caribbean sea, exploring the mangrove, and tasting local fish and coconut rice-based dishes... sounds like a fairytale, doesn't it?
Transfer between the port and your hotel in Cartagena.

Day 12: Farewell, Colombia!
Even the greatest vacations eventually come to an end! Today you will be transferred to Cartagena Airport for your flight to Bogota in time to connect to your international flight
